Part 2 of raiding Valestein Castle yields exploring the West Wing, finding the Battle Shield, a scene with Bishop Nikolas that doesn't really result in much, and a very apt grinding spot as the levels we gain massively increase our survivability.

Oh, and we report to Fran that the Countess and children are safe, but that doesn't result in much of a reward. I heard in the remake she gives an Illusion Mirror... which we've used exactly 0 of up until now.

After the next boss, we obtain the next piece of the puzzle and can head for the next section of the castle.
