In any case, we learn the truth behind Kemokemo village and why Nelico has been adamant about keeping Ion from leaving- or rather- waking up after spending the entirety of the previous game restoring her own memories.

One boss fight later and we utilize the tried and true method of waking up from a dream by leaping off a high precipice... only to do so immediately again after waking up?!
