Stream 1 Part 9

Turns out that one of the maids at Valestein Castle is lamenting the fact that the count's son has wandered off and they need someone to bring him back. Cue Convenient Adventurer as we volunteer and find the boy, Christof, outside of the Illburns Ruins after having followed his father there. Thankfully, he agrees to return with us and we have a brief but not too bad escort mission in the process.

The rewards are worth it as we're placed in the good graces of count McGuire's wife, receive a very nice reward, and almost get to tell the kids about our adventures until Chester(!) tells us it's not a good idea to be at the castle and we're kicked out.

After picking up a couple of previously-unobtainable items, especially one that rewards us with a very handy accessory for the next dungeon, it's finally time to actually enter the Abandoned Mine.
