For Abyss of Vinsaga, the strongest point is its story. With a story that has been over a decade in development (yes, you heard right), you can expect at least some polish. Although you can only catch a small glimpse of the overall story from this short first chapter, it is enough to drag you in. I cannot wait to experience the entire story, regardless of the medium chosen.

Vonwert has once again published a mystery-themed puzzle game, much in the same brand as Dark Illusions. Titled Cursed Desires, the story of Lex Johnson is told as he takes over the exploits and adventures of a reclusive millionaire.

Patrick's Journey, the RPG made by Monkey Brothers' creator Hedrum, is a traditional RPG with a not-so-traditional story. It is a first attempt at a full game, and it shows. However, much promise and fun is found in this game.

Good news. Despite the arrival of RPG Makers 2 and 3, game designers of the first RPG Maker are still hard at work at producing quality games for that medium. One maker that has not forsaken this old maker is Jerbils, creator of the game Crazy Skating.

Lets face it, most of the RPGs on the market have much in common. Too much. They all seem to want to tell the same old story of the hero who finds love and saves the world. All the while, sightseeing his own world where only a hundred people exist and it takes 5 minutes to cross the globe in a plane that never runs out of gas. Sound familiar? Well, it does to me too. And to the creator of Untraditional!, as evident by this game.

Classic plot, classic gameplay, classic sound, is it me, or do people throw that word around a lot? Perhaps it was in anticipation of a game they weren't even aware of? I was- that game is the sequel to a game I've never even played. In the words of a famous movie critic- this was something I was always waiting for, but just didn't know it. Under World 2 starts off with a hero, Daron, on a hike. He fights knolls to help a nearby town of Niir.
