    RPGMM Rumor Mill
If you heard it here, it could probably be true. Maybe.

  • As always, we begin with the illustrious Pigwhistle family, who constantly supply us with up-to-the-minute gossip. As we've heard from Lord Periwinkle Percival Pigwhistle , there are rumors that the RPG Maker community's biggest bigwigs, Ixzion and Valkysas are in deep trouble with Agetec for RPGMM's April Fool's joke about RPG Maker 6. So angry, in fact, that they will not be giving either site an advance copy of the next RPG Maker. Both sites are purportedly in negotiations with the RPG Maker distributor to reverse this decision. RPGMM will have more information as it comes.

  • The next RPGMM: When's it coming? There are two different camps of thought and coming from two different, but reputable people. Ixzion, current lead designer, says that the site will be done sometime in early 2008, while Oblivion, Vice Head of Site, has said that it was coming out closer to the Black Friday (Thanksgiving) time of year. Also noted was that there won't be as much a graphic upgrade as a backend upgrade of databases.

  • Lastly, a tidbit coming out of the Shack of Mag is that a new recognition is coming for the games of RPGM software. It will be kind of like an RPGMM Award and will be cool. Plus Ixzion is leaving the site again afterwards.
