First off, let me say that I was stuck when I saved between two bosses with no heal, so I didn't see this game to the end. So if the plot has a great ending or whatever - no dice.

RPG Maker 3 has been out for some month and a half now, and
already people are releasing demos, some even giving out full games!
While the game listings are still low, it is rising at a fast rate (or compared to RPGM2). Here is one of those demos, made by Eclipse Studios, and from what I hear, it's based off of an anime series? Anyway, here is the review of Record of Lodoss War.

What do you get when you mix an original RPG with some FFVI here and there? Simple, a game called Forgotten Isle, that's what!

Somewhere between Teen and Mature lies a game, and not only is it a game, it is THE first completed game built for RPG Maker 3. I haven't got a clue on whether to say congratulations, or to say 'what in the heck?', for releasing it. Anyway, from the one and only Oblivion Dragon, here is the review for Second to Last Fantasy XXVII (don't ask...). Story: Slop any cliche ever and compile it into one game, and you just replicated Second to Last Fantasy XXVII. From a crystal that stops bad guys, to sages who created and protect everything, to even your home town and father being destroyed, this game has 'em all. If you thought that was exciting, wait till you hear the main character's name, Mr. Hero!

Here we are, RM3 out for several months, and getting the first wave of it's new games. This prospect can only fill someone with hope for a new breed of good games (one that adapts to some various discomfiting features of RM3), and designers.

A Dark Link game made by none other than magonian DarkLinkOmega, whom we can only assume enjoys the Dark Link concept, but did he pull it off?

Siren's Reef is the direct sequel to the early RPG Maker 3 hit, Whispers in the Woods. It took nearly 3 years to get this game out and, for the most part, Siren's Reef delivers another glorious helping of Vonwert's signature well-developed storylines and puzzle gameplay. The game is one of the most ambitious ones developed for the system, too, with multiple endings and paths through the game.

Daniel's Quest III is a polished, traditional fantasy game that will leave you satisfied. The story of DQIII follows Daniel, the family man with a mission from the King of Nevernear to recover the Stone of Destiny, the artifact of the Lord of Truth. Stolen by a mysterious foe, Daniel must traverse the wide, open landscape of Nevernear, explore caves, and defeat numerous foes in order to regain the artifact and something even more precious...

Some are an uncanny challenge to perceive in this manner, and some are ridiculously simple (Zelda renditions, for instance), but still others I simply cannot seem to relate to anything but a decent feat of imagination on the part of the designer.

The story has you play as one of two orphans. You can choose to play as either Victor or Zoey. You play through their life as a child to adult. After the beginning you can pretty much choose what you wanted to do. Obright gave a great amount of freedom to the player. You can help reopen Max's shops, become a musician, become an artist and sculpt statues all over, become a cook, go on archeology digs, become a clergyman, and many other things.
