Today, as the Mag celebrated its 12th anniversary, an announcement was made.

The introduction of RPGM Magazine Version 6.1, codename "KillerTofu", was made in the chatroom.

The list of the breakdown is below.

Sitewide XP
KillerTofu will introduce XP gains for most activities on the site. This includes, but is not limited to, creating content (articles, LPsodes, RM stuff), upvoting/downvoting articles and comments, and posting on the forums.

It boils down to three areas:

Content activities give the most XP.

Forum activities will grant more XP than the chatroom and is the only way to gain coins/ranks, which increase your XP modifier (up to 60% extra Bonus XP).

Chatroom stays as it is for now.

Notifications System
The Notifications System will be tied to the PM system. Users will be sent PMs directly to special boxes in their account tied to the following:

Being awarded XP for an activity
A new Site News category item.
Someone comments on content you made.

LP Archive Improvements
A way to search the LP Archive by author or playlist will be introduced to help make navigating this easier.

Chat Redesign
The chatroom will be given a makeover to make it more in-tuned with every other part of the site. It will have a fixed resolution.

Bug Fixes
Naturally, many bugs and cross-browser compatibility issues will be resolved.

Release Date
The release date for this is aimed to be shortly before MagCon Prime 2014.
