Enterbrain Website, Internet -- RPGMM Staff Member (name witheld) recently enlightened the community to the presence of Enterbrain's new entry into the RPG Maker series, RPG Maker XP. This new RPG Maker looks to combine the best of both worlds: the graphic customization of RPG Maker 1 and the programming depth of RPG Maker 2. However, it doesn't stop there. It adds even more programming options, including the ability to make a battle system akin to the 16-bit Final Fantasies (Screen 1).

If that sound like something you're interested in, then please sign your name to the petition! Every vote counts, so please spread this as far as you can! Here's the link:

RPG Maker XP Petition

Get mobile, people!

The new name for RPGMM forum patrons is...

In a recent poll, RPG Maker Magazine forum-goers where asked to choose the best name to call themselves as a collective unit. For example, the RPG Maker Pavilion forum users call themselves Pavilionites. But that's very easy to come to. What could we call ourselves?

After an extensive poll, the people have been heard. RPGMM forum patrons will henceforth be called Magonians!

This name will be featured in all future news stories and media, not to mention on other forums.

Most Newsworthy RPGM Community Figure: Valkysas

Valkysas has started to turn the RPG Maker Pavilion around. Promoted to Head of Site a week ago, he's started dropping any staff that has been inactive over a period of time (they may end up short of staff, so keep eyes open if you'd like to work there) and with the help of thought-to-be-gone member Blaziar, has redesigned the RPG Maker Pavilion. It's maximum blue, to say the least.

Let's hope that Valk's reign will bring the RPG Maker Pavilion out of the slump it has been in and perhaps some justice to the forums.
