I like this tactic for now. It shows how damaging it can be to criticize unfairly. At some point though (not yet) gamers have to not hit back, like when they are strong enough in consumer numbers and let people like the author self-marginalize.

just goes to show that you cant rely on other people to provide you with second or third hand information without verifying that it is authentic and true, not bias by ignorance, or made up through popular belief. always, always, research what your saying, especially if you will rely on it for a chief arrangement or if it could be taken in a derogatory light. you have to make sure it is factual. lawsuits have occurred because people didnt take the time to check and slandered anyway.

at the pavi we feel this the most since most will jump on you and tear you into pieces if you speak falsely.
