I guess I didn't word that very well. I didn't mean sprites, this time around. I meant as in details of characters that the players will run into. For example, Mr. Butterface: Leader of the Rebel faction BLARG. Blah, blah, blah. He does some stuff and does this and that typically.

I've done some thinking on this. I'll leave out the backstory I thought up for them for now because I'm not entirely sure if we're using the planet names I had in my little discriptions. Heres a couple bigger characters I thought of.

Nova, the Crimson Rogue.
Bryce, a young, bold mercenary.
Aurox, an experianced general.

If you want more info just ask.

Well I would say we could use a solid mix. We for sure need a good one. I'm not sure if anyone has more ideas about mad scientist, but I wouldn't rule it out.

I've been trying to work on the space combat. Here is what I came up with so far.

The spaceship, called Unicorn (everyone okay with that name?), also partakes in certain battles. While in space the attacking will be done by the ship. The stats for the ship are as such:

AP: 100
ATK: 20
OH: 0
AIM: 10+X+Y

While the ship stats have similarities to that of the players, there are some clear differences. AP (armor points) is the health of the ship and once it reaches 0 the ship will crash. OH (overheat) increases as you attack, by how much is determined by the weapon used. If the weapon says OH +30 then that is how much it increases with each attack. If OH reaches 100 you cannot attack without sustaining damage. By that point OH gained will convert into AP lost. Example: OH is at 100 and you do another attack. OH +30 would be AP -30 instead. Now to the AIM of the ship. The ship's aim is determined by its base AIM and two other properties. X and Y happen to be the AIM of those operating the cannons. As implied, there are two that can operate the cannons at a time.

Hmm, you got a point. It seems too forced... which is true because I forced the name. If anyone can think of a better name feel free to share.

Now for a quick little thing on enemy stats. Regular enemies, much like the players, start out with 12 stats. Per level raised they gain 7 stat points. However, they are distributed exactly the same each time, per enemy type. For example:

Water Zombie LV up
HP: 3 +2
ATK: 2 +1
STA: 3 +2
DEF: 2 +1
AIM: 2 +1

How they are distributed, of course, is decided by us GMs.

Before I forget, this is by far the wierdest class sprite I've made. I present to you the Xeromancer.

The sprite looks like its got that ghostly hand that Midna had in Zelda TP.
