This game whooped my ass so hard I wanted to cry. I was stuck on the Endgame 4 and 5 levels for days on end. But I beat it. Was playing on Normal.

Ashera is such a Bump It Then Catch Hamburger. At least in PoR, Ashnard had like a ton of troops and just 120 or so HP, so you could steadily make your way to him. But with her, it's like you gotta fight her 10 times and THEN you can finally hit her, all while she does super blows to everyone in the entire party every damn turn.

Or paralyzes everyone for 5 TURNS (DAMN).
Or silences everyone (but not such a problem).

And the dragons can't possibly survive, so I'm stuck at the end with the "Severly wounded" crap. But let me tell you, I couldn't give too much of a care at all at the moment of truth.

I was stuck on the final level with this:
1 Nihil (Ike) - I didn't know if you removed them from others, you got to keep them.
2 Heal Staffs
1 Mend Staff
1 Restore Staff

Everyone was basically 20/20/12 or higher. Soren and Boyd got killed just before I got the final turn I needed in after I ignored the little flippin' fireballs of doom.

I went in without a single Royal and chose Reyson. Then when I got to Final (4), I was reading how everyone was taking an assload of uber-chars. I thought I would never beat the game after that. This is almost certainly why I've had such a hard time with this.

Now I've seen everything.

I haven't played this particular game, though.

You know, one day I really gotta build up the patience and will to play a strategy game.

Congrats on beating the game, though. ^^

I don't like TACTICS games, not strategy games. I find games like Disgaea so convoluted, with too many options and stats to fiddle with.

I love the Fire Emblem/Shining Force (the real ones, 1-3, not the other games).
