Goodness! Captain Olimar joins the fray with five colors of Pikmin in tow! He plucks Pikmin from the ground and they fight as his allies.

Without Pikmin, Olimar can’t even do a Smash Attack. And the short-lived Pikmin tend to scatter. Theirs is a fated symbiotic relationship.

yeah, just wanted to play on the lol factor and irony of these things... I really don't care that he's in the game, people can play him if they want, but I will probably only play as him to get 100%

Well there goes the "Capt. Olimar can't be in Brawl because is he is way too small" comments.
I'm glad he's in just because of that. Hopefully it will reduce the "Ridley is too big for Brawl" comments.
(And I don't really care about Ridley at all either way. It's just that those kind of comments annoy me a bit)

I'm glad someone else agrees. Pikmin was alright, but I'm not exactly excited over this announcement.

I'd love to see Ness confirmed for this game, but Lucas seems to have taken his spot. I think it's kinda crappy both can't be in it, lest we remember the similar movesets between Captain Falcon and Ganondorf in the last game.

Another thing, I'd love to see a darn FEMALE Fire Emblem character make it in! I'm still upset Lyn didn't get to be in Brawl.

well, seeing as how (IIRC) Geno was number 3-1 on the list of top wanted characters in Japan. I think Olimar was like 8 or something.

Oh man, that would rock hardcore. I never even thought of having Geno in a Brawl game, but heck, if they're pulling in wacky characters like Snake into it, Geno should be entitled a spot... specially since Square is getting along with Nintendo now.

That list is so old... I saw it at Starmen.net in April 2007, when there were like 5 logos on it.

Smash Brawl just got delayed to March 9 in the US.
