Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna make the deadline. For two weeks I been asking TAI to download a game for me. I'm not good with moving around files on thumb drives. So I had him help me on that. Sigh..

I'm gonna wait for the next contest to come out.

I gave up on this a long time ago. I was having trouble getting motivated (I'd actually spent about 30-50 hours on what I DID make), but I didn't have the time, inclination, or motivation to spend another 100-150 or so to make it how I wanted. Then the Pav garbage contest came up, and it actually got me to WANT to make games again. So much so that I made four of them.

I REALLY need to finish my sequel. I believe it has potential but time is currently my enemy.

Can you think of an instance when time is actually your friend?

I was wondering if a sufficient amount of people have submitted to the contest yet. I really wanted to but I haven't had the time. If enough people had submitted than that is my tough luck, but if only a handful have, I was wondering if maybe they could be rewarded by giving the prizes to those who made the deadline, but we could have an extended date for the judging the games themselves and even those who already submitted could re-submit if they left out things to make the due date.

This is just a thought. Anyone agree, disagree, etc. ?

EDIT: Now that I think about it, someone could submit crap just to get the prize and then resubmit after working on the game like the rest of us in the extended time period, so maybe part of the reward for being on time is that your original submission needs to be your only submission, or a certain percentage could be tweeked, but not basically remaking the whole game.

Again, all just thoughts.

The rules and deadline were posted 9 months ago. That's enough to bring new life into the world, so it better be enough to finish a damn game. XD

(In other words, deadline and initial rules stick)

I have questions.

Will a game be reviewed on gameplay or how well it connects to the original game? Or both? Also, how well does it have to connect in order to call the game a sequel, gaiden, etc.

Is an extension really needed? I mean ur like there was only 8 days left. and that was like 16 days ago.

U know what I think.. I think some admins are having trouble coming up with the prize money.

That's not the issue. The issue is no one having a game done, even though this thing has been going on so long.

But this is the end of the line.

1. It will be reviewed like a regular game.
2. Just make a part 2. Like movie sequels or however. Or do a prequel. Or just do something completely different and do a side-story.

And no, no one can give a synopsis of the game's content for you.

id even try to make a game but so far ive been working on my main game for 8 years and im still no closer to finishing the thing. push back the date till 2020 and ill be able to have a game ready - maybe.
