Too many good titles for me to buy. I'll get to this one sooner or later.

Man, Thanks Dev... you've rather talked down the title. I still haven't seen it here in El Dog so I can't really play it unless I get it offline. I still plan to, but it's been bumped down a bit.

From what I've heard it is the same typical video game story (not story in the game itself, but the story of we gamers who look forward to it): High expectations, looks great, not as realistic as you'd like it be, too short to justify buying new.

Well, I've been playing it. And personally, I don't see what the problem is. The controls are great. Even if you don't know how to play, it shows you the possible commands at the top right side of the screen anyway.

And about the game being a guys memory and not actually happening currently... so what. It still happens. The fact that it's an ancestors thoughts adds more storyline than if it was just following the story of Altiar.

I'm rather enjoying the game.

@Lantis

I'm happy for you. Hopefully though, you won't post tomorrow "I rather ENJOYED the game". :lol

Just gotta say, this is one of the best games I have played in a while. I love how they go into the subject's mind hunting for memories. I love how Altair can scale virtually everything. I love how they introduce your assassin's targets. I love the fighting engine. I love how you can kill, run, hide, and repeat. Most importantly, I love the controls. :lol

What I don't love is how some people reviewed this game! Almost everywhere I looked for information on this game, I would find bad reviews, people talkin' bad about the controls, and people just hating on it in general.

@Lantis- I apologize for talkin' bad about this game in your thread, and I will try games out for myself before assuming. Bad controls indeed- I found the controls for this game to be buttery smooth, and I regret saying anything negative about them.

*Time to eat crow* :P

I think I might actually be nearing the end of the game. Dispite what people have said, the game can take alot longer than you'd expect. It's kind of like the whole Fable thing. You can blow through the game if you really are that impatient, but if you set out to do most of which is avalible, you'll be playing for a good long while.

The story is great. Even with the whole "outside the animus" thing that I've been hearing is a bad thing. In actuality, it becomes more vital to the story at the end as the past ties in with the present in a nice plot-twisty way.

The game is good. Ubisoft has my respect... and from what it sounds like, there will be other Assassin titles in the future... and that makes me happy.

I also don't see why people thought this was such a short game. I'm on the fourth memory block and I still love it. I am taking my time with this one, but on purpose. I just love the background music, and I don't want the game to end.

I was brought up as a Christian, but I have fallen from my faith on account that, imho, so many others exist, but I have to say-
When I traveled to Jerusalem for the first time, I was stricken in awe, it was weird and cool at the same time....iunno, weird huh? They introduced that city so ..... beautifully.
I thought all three cities were extremely well done. Detail goes really deep. And I know everyone points this out, but I really have to admire how exact you scale a building. I mean... it's like you actually have to look for places to put your hand.

Oh, and throwing knives for the win. I've been whoring those. ^_^

I'm on block 6... and I believe it's the final block.

I thought the HUB world (that lab type place) to be quite fundamental in telling the game's story also. I'm totally addicted to talking to that lab chick so I can find out all the details about the story.

I also found the Animus to be a fresh and witty excuse for the save and load system, and a good cover-up/excuse for basic videogame operation in general.

Speaking of the HUB world and such... Did you happen to
pick the pocket of the doctor and steal his pen somwhere back in block 3 or 4?
I'm not sure if that comes back into play or not... it hasn't yet for me.

But yeah, keep talking to that chick... she ends up telling you quite a bit.

I'm scared to read what you asked me in the spoiler, but I'll get back to you on that one as soon as I beat the game.

It has not major plot spoilers. Just a little something you can do... what it does, I have yet to figure out. Which whas kind of why I was asking. ^_^

But yeah, don't worry about it. I'm sure I'll find out eventually.

Oh, I had to read it, now I can't wait to go home and try it. Thanks for the tip Lantis. Also, you probably already found it out, but I'll ask anyway.
Did you find the cardkey that unlocks the room from the inside?
I'm sure you did as it was kinda obvious, but I was just curious all the same.

Yeah... but as of yet, none of this has really come back into play yet. Ah well. ^_^

I got Time Crisis 4 instead of this.

I feel pretty bad. I'll pick this up sooner or later.
