Actually, nintendo is all about innovation- this seems like a way to get you off your ass while you game, and make you feel more involved. I saw the drum set usage, that gets me excited, as well as using it like a sword. Pwn.

Xbox does the same crap with their controller, and ps3 probably does too.

Remember when people thought the N64 controller was outrageous? :lol

Yeah, I saw this. This is the first time, as a hardcore Nintendo fan, that I've remembered saying "What the hell is that?"

But I'm with the Big N 100% :D

Supposedly you can take the base from the remote and put it into a more casual controller that hasn't been revealed yet.

Ten bucks says that a third party will Put out a "Normal" controller for the blasted thing with in 6 months of the revolutions release.

And on a simmilar note, I think that Sony is going to learn the hard lesson that Microsoft did about funky controller designs. Also a Dual shock 3 will probably pop up once Sony relizes that their current controller is for all intents and purposes PERFECT.

I hope they boost the number of need-to-buy games on this system. Considering that my gamecube has been gathering dust ever since RE4.

It might be a little harder for third-party controllers to follow suit, given all of the motion detection-like stuff going on. I know the possibilities, but I will still go on record as saying the controller as it stands is like a joke to me. If it sits in a base that resembles the gamecube controller (saw a pic of it), then it will probably be acceptable... but it's not like I'll ever play the revolution anyhow.

Ya. It would take some adjusting to using a VRTUAL REALITY REMOTE for a controller. And just like Ixzion, I am a 100% Nintendo fan. It took ALOT of people to convince me to even PLAY a game made for a different company. I just got a PS2 in late June.

Didn't take much convincing for me. PlayStation had Final Fantasy. And if it weren't for that, I would've never got a chance to use RPG Maker.

The remote isn't going to be the only controller, apparently. There will also be attachments most likely bundled with games since those will be cheap to produce- along with a regular controller shell thing.

Ya. And that is the only thing that convinced my best friend to get it. At first he said, "It will suck and nothing on it can be good because the "controller" is retarded since it is a freakin remote!" I definetly disagree with him.
