Awesome. Sonic looks awesome in those vids, and I'm excited to play him.

And that's strange animal crossing doesn't have any characters yet. Nook? Slider? Townsperson? I'm guessing Mii intergration.

So, are there any major Nintendo franshices we missed? Time to speculate who's showing up for the brawl!

That means there's at the very least an unknown franshise so far, there could be more icons after Sonic's
Anyway, I've heard lots of comments about Golden Sun. I personallly would like to see Advance Wars representation, and after today, I could imagine MegaMan in Brawl too.

I saw about Sonic making it into Brawl.

All I can say is that my mind is blown, specifically because I grew up during the SNES and Genesis console wars.

Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 stars has to be the last one... If they put Geno in, then you'll see me get excited.

Oh well... But I agree with Lantis, If Geno is in, I'll probably be happy. Although, what would his symbol be?

I'm a fan of Sonic, so this makes me happy. But I would also like to see Megaman join the cast of fighters.

Geno's would be in the shape of a star. Reason's why: Star Road, star hill, Star Pieces, ect...

Yes, but stars represent Kirby and crew, so that's no good. Maybe use the smithy sword, or just the same mushroom. Geno would rule.

All of my friends think Geno would be stupid, because he 'has no attacks'.

So... I had to explain that GENO WAS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER WITH MANY DIFFERENT WEAPONS. (They have only played Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and think Geno was just a minor character.)

So, I'm going to post some of my ideas for Geno here:

<Standard> Elbow shot, similar to Fox's gun
<Charge Attack (Hold </and> Hand Cannon
<Up> Cape Hover
<Final> Either Geno Flash, or Geno Whirl

That's all I really have for now... Geno for Brawl! (Maybe having Exor as his symbol would be cool.)

I agree, Exor sounds like a good representation.

Actually, Geno had plenty of attacks in Mario RPG. But they are all long range. So, yeah, they'd just give him a few melee moves like they did alot of the characters that usually don't throw any punches (Fox, Falco, Kirby, ect).

And Geno Whirl would make an aswesome final smash. If they pause the game to do animations for final smashes, I can see them using the old show-it-make-contact-with-the-target-three-times-each-at-different-angles thing...

Well, Brawl got delayed.
I was hoping I wouldn't have to worry about college when Brawl arrived, but that gives me time to actually get a Wii.

I guess we'll find out about quite a bit more about the game in 6 days, on the E for All thingy. They will hava a playable demo there...

I don't know if this pic is actually the real deal, but Sakurai at least said Sonic will be among the playable characters in the demo.

About Geno not having enough attacks. Many people said Sonic would never make it for the same reason, and... you know the rest.

Yeah, but Geno was a character that actually had more than enough attacks to be in Smash. I always saw Sonic as havig like 4 attacks, a punch, spin dash, kick, and something else.

I wasn't really mad that people said Geno wouldn't be in Brawl, I was more mad when they said he doesn't have any attacks. Because they had only played Mario & Luigi: Super Star Saga, in which Geno is just a doll that tells you how to play a game, and they had never played SMRPG.

Exactly, end even then he made it to Brawl. That's kind of what I wanted to mean.

Final Smashes
Sonic's Final Smash: Super Sonic - He flies around hitting people
Peach's Final Smash: Calm Vibe? - She gets all happy, while to drawings of her appears on the side of the screen. Every enemy falls asleep and lots of hearts fall to the ground. Each heart recover 5% (darn it! I was expectin her to have a WTH-thats -too-strong-for-a-princess! attack...oh well)


Items:
Smart Bomb: Reminds me of the Giant Bullet Bill's explosion in Melee
Laser sword: different look. It's blue now
Baseball bat: Each character has a different animation for it now
super/poison mushrooms: No surprise there
Urchin? :Not sure f it's a Battlefield obstacle, but it seems to simply fall in the ground. If you hit it, you get damaged

SMASH BALLS!
Instead of just appearing in the ground, they will float randomly all over the stage. Players need to attack it (As if to break a box or barrel) to get it. Once you get it, you'll get on fire and the screen will darken. When you press the special attack button, you will activate the Final Smash. If you are hit before activating it, you may lose the Smash Ball. Once used, you might pivk another Smash Ball if another appears (It's not limited to once per character per round)

Stages:
Samus: Forgot the name of it, but it still retain the classing rising lava/acid/burning thing
Yoshi's stage: it's already on the Dojo, but you can see Flyguys dropping items (and maybe picking some up?)

Assist Trophies
Advance Wars soldiers:
Infantries and Tanks will start running forward while shooting

Other minor things
When a timed match ends, the screen fight doesn't just freeze, but it kinda goes slow motionish before the result screen appears.

I'm not sure if I left something out (from what I saw in the vids)
I guess we'll know a lot more (or maybe just a bit more) on the 18th!

I was sure it would be one of the new Mother Stages. And look, they even put the Ultimate Chimera in there. (Anyone who has played EB, and doesn't want Mother 3 possibly spoiled for them, you might not want to look at the pictures of the new stage.)

It looks pretty big! (Maybe because it IS pretty big)

from what I can gather, a few things has been noted in the demo
Assist Trophies:
- a metroid
- "Some... spider robot thing fired lasers at us. It looked like there was a fat ugly child operating it, but I didn't get a good look since it didn't last long"

- Tails (this one breaks my heart. I wanted him playable): Apparently he saves you from falling down by picking you up.
