A friend of mine talked me about it, ans since it's a pretty short series(26 episodes), I decided to watch it.
I'm no anime expert, but after seeing up to episode 8, ([spoiler]Where Priscilla went mad and killed Teresa. Teresa! What a cheap shot! I thpught all those girls would appear in later episodes[/spoiler]) I'm like "Whoa!"
It's pretty good (for me at least)
And it's not only the excesive bloodshed and flying body parts

Has anyone seen this anime?

I read the Manga. It's pretty good.

I don't read read the manga although it follows a different path than the anime.

Yeah, Kajak got me into it... I really like it. Though they do that traditional enemeys-stare-down-eachother-and-quickly-dash-across-the-screen-and-pause-for-a-few-moments-only-for -one-of-them-to-burst-into-a-fountain-of-blood.

In fact, they do it quite often... kind of got old for a bit. But really, that's the only issue I can pull out of it. And it's not really that bad of a thing.

I took those seconds to try to guess where did slash took place.
Did she decapited them? Slash across the waist? Vertical Slash from head to toe? Or the all too famous non lethal enough slash on the shoulder?

heh, that's something i always wonder about; how come that slash on the shoulder never, ever seems to kill anyone, when it's fairly blatantly lethal?

Ach..I got into it and watched it like constantly for 2 days...and got to episode 20 and no more were out...I haven't really watch it since...I guess I need to pick it back up

It's not bad. I like a lot of the characters....Sometimes the story goes a bit to fast for me though. Like...26 episodes...that's way to short for me

Yeah, the story seems to go too fast. Characters are introduced, you start saying, I like that Claymore and [spoiler]BANG! She dies 2 episodes later, friend or foe, they don't seem to last much. I was wondering if there would be enough characters for next season[/spoiler]

Anyway, I kinda like the fact that is short, so I know I can complete it shortly too. Paranoia Agent is one of my favorite animes and is half as long as Claymore.

Paranoia Agent is really good.

I remember reading the first chapter of Claymore in one of my Shonen Jumps. It was interesting, but nothing spectacular. I was curious about the next chapter so I started buying the manga.

Paranoia agent actually got me to think about my perceeption of reality! Curse you PA!

I haven't seen the Claymore anime yet. I hope it's as good as the manga

I saw the first episode in my Anime Club. I liked what I saw!
