I've been playing Disgaea 2 for the past few weeks. And when I'm playing a game, I usually look some stuff up.

I thoguht Disgaea: The Hour of Darkness was wonderful... and Disgaea 2 is yet another kick ass Nippon Ichi title. So imagine my suprize when I found this...

I had no idea they were even going to make a third. And for PS3 no doubt... It's going to be a long time before we get it, here in the states... but oh boy, I'm excited. So far there's only two screenshots.

One looks like a new animation for when you attack with your characters stacked, the other looks like a new idea for the dark assembly, or character creation.... something.

Anyway, this might not be anything big to anyone here but maybe BQ and Kajak seeing as they are the only people I know who play Nippon Ichi titles... but I thought I'd mention it never the less.

I'm really looking forward to playing it. ^_^

I have the first title and fins it a little confusing to get my head around most of the concepts. Am I supposed to train before the first boss?

I believe there's also a PSP Disagea that's a remake of 1. It has the most kickass name:

Wow, i didn't even know that they were making another sequel. What a discovery Lantis >__< I'm so surprised.

I hope it comes out soon enough, cuz i'm getting bored of playing Disgaea 1 and 2. I've been ending it for around 7 times and Adell already reached level 4210 or something (With repeated reincarnations ^^).

@1ce-The one on the PSP is actually Disgaea, but you play Etna as the main character. Not Laharl ^^

You don't say... Lol, I assume you've taken out Baal and all that jazz. I haven't tried to uber raise my levels. In fact, Adell for me is still floating around level 80, and I have yet to reincarnate anyone.

That's one of the amazing things about disgaea, is the crazy insane amount of time you can put into those games. For example:

You could play through Final Fantasy 7 a good 3 times and max out you characters to level 99 all three run-throughs in the time it took whoever that was to get Laharl to that level.

And what's amazing still is how much there is to do besides just beating the boss... Nippon Ichi really knows how to make a strat RPG, that's for sure.

I know what you mean. You could go like crazy with your stats and the level is probably unlimited. There's like more activities to be done. Nippon Ichi is a genius ^^

I've beaten Baal, Marjoly, and all those bosses and recruited Flonne and Laharl. Which was really simple.

@YouTube Vid- No way!! The Laharl in the vid is lvl 8000+?! And i barely just reached lvl 7506. Darn...

Heh, imagine the number of times he went to the Cave of Ordeals (the third level I think. The one were all the enemies are in a 3 by 3 square and the Geo panel has EXP + 50%) and did Winged Slayer... probably went to the dark assymbly and bumped up "Stronger Enemies" quite a few times and passed "Triple EXP" alot as well.

BTW, I LOVE seeing K at the end of the attacks. It's just amazing how wide the game is. I remember back when I thought 500 points of damage was doing good damage, lol.
