KK, that's not a game confession.

That's what we call too much information! :XD

Actually, I'd consider it not enough infromation. :P

I hope you all don't really think I do any of the things I stated in this whole thread. I'm just having a bit of fun with the topic. :lol

I rip out pages of porno mags and stick them in random spots inside the players guide. So when I'm flipping threw looking for hints it makes looking more interesting.

I played all the way through the crap known as Dino Crisis 3 just so I could know that I was 'complete' by not having a Dino Crisis game out there that I left unbeaten.

Oh, 3 was bad? I own the first 2 and thought they were wonderful.... I passed on the third because I'm not much of an Xbox fan.

Just taking a shot in the dark here... Did you also happen to play Perfect Dark Zero? I loved the one for N64, but haven't ran into anyone who's played it yet.

I think Onimusha 3: Demon Siege doesn't deserve all the praise it received.

I've never played a Devil May Cry game!

I thought God of War was rather easy. For the most part, at least.

OKAMI OKAMI OKAMI for the PS2

This game is as underrated as ICO for the PS2.

I love both of these games. Is it bad to love underrated games? :cry

Also, I think Gears of War for 360 is highly overrated, I think someone paid a bunch of people to vote this to be the game of the year, don't get me wrong, this game was great, but it was the first nausia inducing game I have ever played and not to toot my own horn, but I have played a TON of games in my time, and none of them made me as sick as this game. Besides, I think it's too easy, even on insane mode. :P

No, I never played any of the Perfect Dark games. Sorry.

Dino Crisis is one of my all time favorite games, and I very much enjoyed Dino Crisis 2, even though it was more "gamey" and less Resident-Evilish than Dino Crisis.

Dino Crisis 3 was significantly different. Without going into too much details, the storyline lost the interesting aspects (like the RE Umbrella example we’ve been talking about) but much worse, was the fact that you had to go around collecting tokens/coins like a platform game (or Devil May Cry-sorry :) ) and that was annoying and there really wasn’t any interesting tasks.

Much, much worse was the fact that the camera was absolutely horrendous. If you were jumping from a platform (you had a type of jet pack) and had an over the shoulder view so that you were gliding in one direction consistent with the way you were aiming the controller, mid way down, the camera would change to a frontal view so that now you were looking at the player couldn’t see where to land, and now consistent with whatever direction you initially holding the controller, the character would change direction so that it was consistent with this new camera angle! Also, I am not exaggerating when I say that more times than not, you cannot see the enemies that you are killing. You would have to find a dinosaur, let it run past you (usually delivering damage) and then you had to shoot blindly at it. The only way you knew you were hitting it was due to a on screen indicator of some sort that I can’t quite remember because the camera was facing you.

The only thing I like about the game was that even more than Dino Crisis, you felt in complete isolation, but in many ways, it was akin to the boring isolation of creating an RPGM world with nothing in it and walking around.

I still beat it though!

I thought Final Fantasy VII was so awesome when I first played it that, even having yet to purchase a memory card, I played it over like six times throughout the weekend I was renting it, just trying to get as far into the game as possible before gaming over and having to start all the way over at the beginning. ... Wow, I think that can pretty much be classified as hardcore.

+ I own roughly 80 PS2 games, less than half of which have been
opened. Take that number and cut it in half. That comes to about 14 out
of 80 that I've finished. I am so lethargic about opening up and playing a
new PS2 game. It ain't like it was in the good ol' days when all we had
was a D-Pad and a couple buttons. The PS2 Dualshock controller has a
grand total of 16 buttons (4 shoulder buttons, 4 face-side buttons, D-Pad,
Start, Select, L3, and R3). The D-Pad is sometimes used as a set of
buttons that do things other than movement. L3 and R3 are sometimes
used as well (push down on analog stick). Getting started with a new
game now consists of the following...

Step 1. Spend a half hour reading the manual and figuring out what all
those damned buttons do. Every time I see a "Controls" section that is
more than half a page long listing 50 button controls I have to learn, my
heart sinks.

Step 2. Sit through a half hour of story cinematics. I'm an hour into this
thing and the game hasn't even started yet!

Step 3. The game finally begins, and it ain't any different or innovative
than anything I've seen before. I spend an hour sloshing my way through
its beginning stages only to realize that I've been had by the colorful
visuals, screen shots, and description on the back of the box.

Step 4. Remove disliked game disc, select another one to try, and repeat
steps 1 through 3 all over again.

Step 5. For best results, skip to this step. Insert a copy of the
movie "300" and watch those badass Spartans kick Persian ass. Add a big
bowl of popcorn for time well spent. (In fact, I think I'll do that right now.
I'll finish this post later...)

.....

Man, that was an awesome movie. I love the slo-mo part where Leonidas
kills, like, 10,000 Persians singlehandedly. Totally rad, man. This dude is
a real man who has big balls. The sheer ballsiness and badassitude of this
movie just... makes me love life! This is what life is all about. People
trying to kick the crap out of each other. Hold on, I seem to have
something in my eye...

Okay, umm... more confessions...

+ I played "Star Wars Super Bombad Racing" and liked it. I beat the
game as Jar Jar Binks, who says "Mesa bombad!" when he wins.

+ Among my favorite PS2 games of all time is "Pryzm The Dark Unicorn",
which... isn't exactly beloved by the general gaming populace. No
accounting for (their) taste.

+ I liked the stealth levels in "Turok Evolution". They're badass.

+ I had great difficulty beating "Goblin Commander", which others have
labeled "easiest RTS ever".

+ I am not a fan of RPGs (why am I even here?!). I have never played a
Final Fantasy game nor any mainstream RPG title. I played Diablo (PC),
Might & Magic VI (PC), Defenders Of Oasis (Sega Game Gear), Chrono
Trigger (SNES), and... I think that's it as far as regular RPGs go.

+ I am a fan of tactical RPGs/games. Longtime fan of the Heroes Of Might
& Magic series (PC), Crystal Warriors (Sega Game Gear), and Shining
Force (Sega Game Gear).

+ I still have a working Game Gear, Sega's portable console, and a
respectable collection of games for it.

That would be so much worse Crythania, if you had Sega's OTHER portable... the one that could play Sega CD games, that thing took like 10 batteries.
