Heh, heh. Actually, you are right, Gnasher. I did not do a very good job of making one of the game's arch villains sound as though you have a reason to fear him, at least during that one scene.

As to using non-anime songs, it seems that Lantis is already considering amongst a few songs for the next video, and I gave a few suggestions myself, also. ... But all that kind of stuff is left up to him.

Seeing as this very well be the last RM1 game I ever do, I'm doing what I can to do it right. ^_^

I just updated a little intro video that I'm thinking about using for future videos I make for AA. I already got some feedback... but I'm posting it never the less. SK thinks we should just fore-go the intro, which is fine by me... but I would like to hear a few more opinions.

LOl...nice vid...Ummm...did you miss a character? I mean you had the pics you had done show up in the vid...but I don't remember seeing one. Nice job though Can't wait for you're slow asses to finish

Hmm, I dunno. If you really need an intro video, it doesn't need to be any thing long or flashy. Could just simply be a logo that pops up for a second. You know, like how PlayStation commercials start out, or how GameCube commercials ended. *whispers GameCube*

Yeah, I think I may scrap the idea... but as a quick thought, maybe as a closing animation at the foot of videos, perhaps?

Yeah, closing clip might work. But it could still be a little shorter.

The only way I can really shorten what I've got is by speeding up the sound. The sound clip I used wasn't separated by individual sounds.

Either that or I can try something esle compeltely. I'm indifferent, though I don't really have any other ideas ATM.

I dunno, maybe cut it so it starts with the first spotlight instead of warming it up beforehand. That is, starting right at the first spotlight's click.

Well, instead of AMVs I think I'll just settle with video updates. I've put all three on the first post... so no one has to try and fish them out of the several pages of the Arc Arath topic.

Nice vids. I did notice the mic quality change but I kinda thought you were just farther away from it or something until you said otherwise.

So long as it is an interesting story and text plays a large enough role in the experience as a whole, I see no problem with it. But there were some retail games that bothered me back in the day that had text just because the in-game characters were fighting for face-time, it seemed. I skipped some text back then in games like Brave Fencer and Vandal Hearts.

I really like the video updates. Keep it up.

Not sure if the spoiler tag actually prevents images from loading. Seems that the longer I'm on the page, the more images that seem to already be loaded. Unless my connection is just that fast.

That may very well be the case. They were already pre-loaded when I edited the post, so I wouldn't notice it taking any longer than normal. But at least the post isn't half a mile long.

What happened for me was when I loaded the first page, all the images loaded regardless of spoiler. Then it seems like the vids load only when the spoiler is shown, and the if hidden has to load again to be shown again, even if I start a video then hide the spoiler, it will have to reload and rebuffer as though it wasn't buffered the first time.

Also the bottom video from youtube says it was removed by user.

The post is much cleaner with spoilers. Props for the idea.
