There are a few people standing around by the entrance. Perhaps one of them can give us some directions. Which shall you speak with? The fisherman, man in rags, or pale woman?

I talk to the fisherman, asking him if he knows any good place to spend the night in.

"The inn? That's north of here, but it is currently full. The survivors of that strange fire at Dowl are there. Poor guys are delirious, talking non-sense about ghostly creatures. Sorry, I started rambling didn't I? Well, if you need a place to rest there is an old fishing shack by the harbor. Its small, but its better than sleeping on the streets. Just keep heading north, past the inn."

I talk to the pale woman and ask the same thing, if she knows someplace around we can rest.
Maybe we should go to this fishing shack? Better than nothing.

I guesse the old fishing shack it is. Maybe on the way we can ask around, to see what else there is around here.

There are a couple of guards by the inn, maybe they can be of some help. Just be sure not to say anything about Dowl.

Across from the inn is a pub called the Dark Corner. Maybe someone in there could have some useful information.

I'll try the pub...guards don't suit me. A drink some light banter (i'll be sure to keep an ear open for info) sounds much better.

After sitting around for a while, you over hear an interesting conversation.

"Dammit, I think I over did it. I should have been more careful on a night like tonight. Can you help me home, buddy?"

"No problem. After the odd murders that have been going on, I'm not letting you wander off in your condition. Don't want you being found on the peir like the others."

hmm... maybe later on one of us should walk by the peir while the others follow close by. That way anything happens to the first person the rest will be right there to rescue him/her.

Dude, we have all like 1 HP left. We can't do anything until we get some rest. And the pier is off-limits? Darn. I say we're in big trouble here.

I'll check and see if there is any place left in the regular inn. It may be crowded, but perhaps not full.

Well, if there's no room at the inn when you check it I'm heading over to the shack to get some rest..We need it.

A strange light darted across the ocean. Jerod was weak from flying, but he had to go. There was an inbalance with nature. Something wasn't right. He should be at the place at any minute. He felt the disturbance was near now, yet he still didn't see the place. Suddenly, a black figure darted outof the water underneath him, and he plunged down into the cold, wet abyss known as the ocean.

Well, I'll go talk to some guards, see if some of us can maybe crash in the guards barracks.

Get off of me! I punch the monster in the nose and go for air. Then I try to fly away, but my wings are all wet. I use my energy to make the water swell, and I'm taken along on a wave.

Link, I love your enthusiam and creative descriptions, but that isn't exactly how the game goes. I haven't even mentioned a monster.


Gnasher, you are just in luck, there is some room at the inn. Unfortunately, there is only enough room for 3 people.

Sounds like 3 can stay at the inn and 2 in a tent. Leaving 2 members without a place to stay, unless if they go to that shed.
