Did I land yet? A mid-air battle with this guy does not sound good.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure he's not going to let us get away. Also, Gnasher, you should check out that room. You might find info on how to defeat this guy.

You're right... but again, we might not be supposed to defeat him and trying will get us all killed. Damn, I hate metagame thinking. Back to roleplay thinking, I agree that we might find a clue inside the room so I run inside.

As you enter the room you notice a man with red hair and an odd blue outfit. Perhaps this is the guy Vlad was talking to. He looks up from a book he was reading to glare in your direction.

"What are you doing here? I hope you aren't looking for a fight. I detest violence."

Maybe we can get a few answers out of him.


Elsewhere, Vladimir is closely approaching the others. There isn't much time left.

I lower my weapon signalizing that I do not want a fight, either. I ask him calmly.

"I am just a casual visitor of this house. On our way out, me and my friends have been attacked by the winged fiend Vladmir; the creature is still out there with them and I don't believe they can hold on much longer. I know you are powerful and wise; I beg for you to lend us your knowledge on how to defeat this beast."

His response:

"Vladimir is nothing, but the garden variety dreem. His odd appearance is a side effect of that blade he wields. The Impaler was once a spear created by the narogs during their long war against the dreems. The blade is a blood thirsty weapon with a mind of its own. Vlad is a fool, he thinks that he is becoming stronger with the more people he slays. In fact, it is only the sword that becomes stronger. Once the sword is out of his hands he's almost harmless. I suggest distracting him, then attack him from behind. Once he's wounded enough, the Impaler will abandon him. Now leave me, I'm busy."

I bow to the man, say "Thank you," and leave the room, closing the door.
I approach the window, and sneakily shoot Vladmir from above; he should be distracted in his pursuit of the others.

The bullet tears through Vlad's right wing causing him to plummet to the ground. Unfortunately, he lands right next to the others.

Vladimir: 8/??

Now, I scream to the others. And I make sure Vlad can also hear it.
"Don't be afraid, the guy's just a lesser devil with a wish for grandeur! The appearance is makeup! He's powerless scum without that sword! Split up and surround him, get him from the back!"

I shoot again if I have an opportunity. I prepare to run for cover on the stairs if he tries to go at me next. I signalize that to the rest of the group with me (who's still up here, again? =P)

I'm still down here! *waves*

Gnasher, I think your alone up there.

But if he is still on the ground I stab him in the back with my sword (Activating the Dark Rose special if it has to be). If he is up I try to get behind him.

I attack as well!

I believe Rynus is still up there with Gnasher. That almost seem perfect. Both of the long ranged attackers are where they can get a good shot at him. Unfortunately, Vladimir is too close to your allies. Too much risk of hitting them. I'd hold fire until the shot is clear.

Vlad sees OnIy's attack coming and rolls out of the way. As he returns to his feet Duel connects with a brutal knee to the back of the neck. "Duelpro learns Spinal Tap." (A swift kick to the spine which slows down enemy reaction time.)

Vlad swings his sword at Duelpro, but is barely dodged. The building across from him is cut in two.

I bunch up my power in my legs and spring towards Vlad with all my might while holding my dagger pointed out in front of me

Hoping I can hit him hard enough to knock him off balance and buy us some more time! (Woot for makeshift Narog sized spears )

Yay for a new move!

I'll use SPINAL TAP! Arrgh!

I attack again and again.

Vlad grabs the dagger by the blade end. A crazy move for him to pull, but saves him from any vital damage. "Kajak learns Leap of Faith." (Charges at the opponent with full force.)

Duelpro takes this chance to strike Vlad down with Spinal Tap. Unable to respond in time, Vlad finally tastes OnIy's blade!

"Enough of this! Malek assist your master.... Malek, where the hell are you? So be it, I'll reduce everything to rubble!"

Vladimir forms a force field around himself and levitates into the air. He focus' his powers.

Ok, I charge my bow to full strength hoping to take out the forcefield in one shot.

I shoot as well. Full power!

I wait till the bullet arrow hit/miss/are blocked and attack while he is distracted.

The shots hit their marks dead on! The force field is down and he is open to attacks... Unfortunately, Vlad is too high to be attacked by melee. Perhaps if given a little boost, they may be able to reach him.

Vlad's focus is halted, but he still has enough for a devestating attack. As he swings the Impaler, a red beam scars the land.

Damn, that attack lowered your health to 1. I wouldn't want to see what would happen if the attack was fully charged. Be very careful guys, that sword is definitely no joke.
