So, last night I was making some chicken fries in the deep fryer in my house. But, when I went to turn it off, the side of my hand touched the deep fryer that held oil in it that was at 400 degrees... So, now I have a huge red and white welt like thing on my hand.

Also, let me tell you something about burns... THEY HURT! So please everybody, don't get second degree burns.

I'll tell you one thing though, those chicken fries were mighty good.

Ever touch a piece of metal that's somewhere around 1000 degrees?
Yep, that hurt.

As soon as you get rid of the burning feeling from bothering you all the time, it's generally fine.

... Just imagine how painful the burns received from the punishing light of my Northern Longblade sword would be, myoky. We're talking 400 thousand degrees here, .... in Celsius.

... Sorry about the ugly welt on your hand that resulted, though. I hope the chicken fries were good enough to make up for that.

When I was 12 I use to ride my bike, like most kids. I fell and scraped my knee open. About 3 inches of a pink, bloody
fleshy wound. I was laying on my moms sofa, and my mom
went to the bathroom to find some disinfectant. All she can find was a can of spray you put on burns. On the back of the can it CLEARLY stated do NOT put on open cuts.
Well, my mom was in a panic and it was the only thing she can find. She sprayed me with it.. And..
O.O >:O Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
It was the worst sting I ever felt. I thought a bunch of bees decided to sting my wound. OMG! I will never forget that. That's what I think about when I hear the word burn. Because the can of spray was for burns only.

Well, I learned today that you shouldn't 'skin' your burns. (Have you skin be scraped off.)

I went to grab a paper that had fallen under the piano bench in my house and my hand scraped up against an out-jutting edge and pulled up some skin on my burn. That made the burn that did not hurt at all, burn again...

^ Yikes... you seem to be having a bad luck, myoky o_0

So what we learn here today is to put on a rubber glove before dealing with very, very hot objects. At least that's what i learned from culinary school ^^

Oh yeah, maybe you should put a bandage on your burn so it doesn't get scraped off "accidentaly".

Yeah, something just like Fight Club, you mean?

"What's this?"
"This is a chemical burn. It will hurt more than any burn, and it will leave a scar."
"Aooogaaaaaaaahhhhrrrrg!!"

One of the best scenes from the movie :D
