We will keep you posted. Once were done with it were sending it off to val hal to put in some animations, and then to you for final spellchecking. The time that he was down, we finished a town, and created 3 dungeons. we just need to add events to the dungeons. Then do another town etc. were hoping to get it done before december,but it depends on how my friends parents are doing healthwise, and stuff like that. But the the time we do spend in production, we really put dents in.

Since there hasn't been any news for this game in about3 or so months, I might as well post an update, since many people are waiting for this game.

Turns out Steve's mom had an accident, so they only spent about two days together. Fred and Steve and pushing for another get-together around April, and I would guess the release date would be May-June of this year.

I'm also looking forward to this game. It seems to have a nice game angle and the story seems to be wacky and fresh.

Well she is ok, and my friend steve is doing ok. she just cut her hand with those ginsu knives and cut the tendon in her hand. Anyways we are still working on the game. I am in the process of fixing a couple of bugs in this new town we are working on that takes place where the demo ends. Then depending on space it will depdend if we use change scenario to do the next dungeon. The town we are working on has alot of events and things to do in it. and just like typical spazz fashion he will leave the town in shambles. And one town will have an arcade with mini games.
Things to except in full game. A running gag which we will be implimiting that is sorta an inside joke,but most people will likely to get it.
Some mythology type dungeon(s) will be put in. I am not gonna say which ones,but once you reach the areas the said monsters, temples and such will ring a bell if you are familiar with greek mythology.
Lastly the mother of all annoying dungeons(but in a funny way) which will be saved for the end or near end of this chapter. Sorry it is taking so long,but with writers block,my friends mom, and work distractions we are doing our best. And hope the game is worth the wait. so just wanted to update you all.

ok last night I finished the new town, added 2 dungeons so when I go to see my friend on june 4th we should either get done with the first chapter of our game or come dang near close to it. Then it will be shipped off to val hal for his talent and then to ice for final spell check. So if we are lucky and no snags on ice or val hals department we are looking a mid aug release date.

ok, as our progress is steadily going we are going to need beta testers. we have 1 we just need 1 or 2 more. When game is done we are gonna have it beta tested before we send it out to val hal and ice for the final version treatment and what does that mean to YOU? Well the beta version will be the game in it full glory minus the ending(s) as no spoilers to the end is leaked. There may be a few surprises taken out so as to give the beta testers a reason to replay final version. Beta testers will have their name or a name they go by in the forums to appear in the game. Role not determined yet. it is my way of thanking you other than a form of money. Beta testers may get something else as well for their troubles,but this is not confirmed yet. It is just that once game is done we need it beta tested and we want those out there that we need YOU to help make the final version a success with as little snags as possible.
So if you want to be a beta tester send an email with the subject beta tester to dragonproductions@mail.com and once beta version is ready, we will send it off to you. So not only will you get to play almost near complete game before anyone else,but you will also get the privelage of getting your name in the credits.

I am not sure if anyone is interested or not,but I have posted a playtest verison 8 up. It includes: new town 90% done. Taste of what will happen in the new town. End results of the town escapades. 2 dungeons. 1 dungeon is not done completely, the other might be expanded. 2 new bosses. I just more of less wanted to ut it up mostly for a coworker,but ice u may want to give it a go. Also reason i posted it is for backup purposes as well. I don't want to not have backup. Now I am going into design more for the parts me and my friend are doing once i get there june 4th so as our progress is going on I will keep all you informed.

good news for all those awaiting of the arrival of a work in progress chapter 1. Everything is drawing near a conclusion. we have 10 things left to do to finally wrap this game up(some things are big, while other are tiny minute things). Then it will ship off to val hal for tweaking. then ice. And as long as the tweaking and spellchecking don't i reall see this game done by mid august. Everything is on paper, and 2 of the dungeons are already made just need to be filled with events. so your looking 8 dungeons this includes towns, and some extras. The only way i see not making the mid aug date is me getting sick or delay in the tweaking and spellchecking.

Today i managed to do alot in just in 4 hours today. i am no wheres near done for today i don't work tomorrow and i am in contact with my friend over the phone so we are able to work on it together tonight. he will just give me imput and ill write it down and continue programming.
What did i do in four hours? I put in the last touches in new town. completed 3 dungeons, 1 cutscene, and some new items and spells.
so where does that leave us with the game. i have 9 dungeons or so left to do(i decided to add some more dungeons lol)., some mini games,ending(s). Finally any fluff we feel like adding. when i mean dungeons though i mean floors too since some dungeons are multiple levels. so it all depends on if i need to split them into sections or not. It all depends on if anything special needs to happen in them that may require more events than are allowed to fit on a dungeon at one time. We will keep you posted on the progress. expect to hear from us sometime this week with further news.

Todays news is as follows:
1. did dungeon layout for new town
2. put in some of the events for the new town with only a couple things left to add.
3. put the final touches on one the newest dungeons which leaves
us with 3 dungeons left to design.
4. and we have 4 more towns to create since we finished two earlier this week.

so what does that mean to YOU? well if the progress goes well and there are not real problems during the beta testing game will be out for the due date promised by early to mid aug. :) :o

well our game is going smoothly,but i may delat beta testing another week since this sunday is my birthday,but by all means I am gonna try to get it done for my birthday. i have 2 more dungeions left and 2 more towns left just to let you know. and 1 mini game left do design.

July 31st should be the latest the beta test should be ready. I am not seeing it taking that long,but I just want to allow for some breathing room for we just decided to add a few more things so the added fluff is gonna take some time to work it all out. Another thing thats going on is one mini game that I have in the works is pretty dang big well for a mini game anyway. Mainly because there is so much randomness in it.
One arcade game that prob won't make the beta cut will be a game we are still working on called you don't know w.i.p.
You don't know w.i.p is a trivia game based on our game, about us,stupid trivia, and just plain dumb questions. We are in the process of thinking what questions to ask. with that all being said there are at least 2 mini games to play in the arcade and hopefully you all play them over and over for fun. of course there are purposes for them other than just having fun. So what should you expect from the beta?
more dick lexia. Thats right you will see more scenes with dick lexia in them. is that a good thing or bad thing? It all depends on if you like what you see. we are almost certain you will find dick lexia entertaining. So what does he have in store for spazz? well I guess youwill have to wait and see.
you can also expect to see new towns with stuff to do, and hidden stuff to just find to have fun with.

What you won't see in the beta will be the last dungeon and ending. We want to keep the last stuff hidden even from beta testers so that everyone will get to see the ending for themselves at the same time.
So once this game goes gold I want you all to mosey on by the game vault and download this crazy game we call a work in progress sometime in mid to late aug. I mean you don't want to be the only one who aint gettin in on any of this action do you? well do you punk? :lol

first the bad news. the bad news is that we are gonna cut the wip mini game trivia thing. the other bad news is that i was sick so it put us behind a few days. the good news is that even with the days i been sick. I should be able to make a early to mid beta to play and promptly there after if not to many bugs are present wrap it up for everyone so we can be on schedule for a late aug release. Tonight i am gonna work like heck to get it done. to make up for the missing mini game we may add one to replace it. however we do have two mini games in the arcade as of now, and we do know we want to have more. so we hope you enjoy the game and get some if not all of the joke, references, parodies etc. just for fun I will be attaching a zip file that has some midis of our music that you can listen to and enjoy and once game is out you will get a track list of what order they will be played in. Some of the songs are ours some are not.
I am planning on creating more songs than just finding songs on the internet or from friends. I have two tracks im working on for our game that are originals and hopefully more will follow. we want to give more of an experience other than just visually thanks.

As much as we prob could get this game done by the end of august for playtesting. We decided to shoot for sometime in october mainly as we don't want to rush things. All and all we just have 1 dungeon left to do and 2 cutscenes. but what really is holding us back are the endings. And our endings are a bit different we think than most game endings so it is gonna take some time to get the remaing 2 on paper before we start coding any of the endings. although we shooting for october doesn't mean we stopped production, in fact we are doing alot more of it since we don't want to delay the thing too much longer. in just this august we have come along way, and prob could finish the game,but not with xtra fluff which is what we want to add. We think in the long run that you will like the game better since we will get the chance to add a bunch more stuff. we may only have 1 dungeon left to do,but who knows one dungeon could turn into us wanting to add more. we have the script on paper,but sometimes what seems on paper is long turns out to be shorter. tonight the last dungeon will be worked on and then it is to the creative process for the endings will commence. we will post when the endings are ready to be programmed so you know and who knows october may seem far,but in reality it will come sooner than you think. heck manybe our game will comd out sooner,but we don't want to rush things.

we finished a huge cutscene so now we are working on the last few dungeons before we get to another cutscene which we thought up a few days ago, then it is on to writting the endings.
Strangely enough though what we thought was gonna be the last dungeon, fit more in as another idea we had so our game seems to have
gotten longer,but we think as a whole the players will enjoy the new dungeon as it is a break from the other dungeons we had, and it also helps up fit in another town so you have 1 more town to stock up on for goodies before you head out to the final areas. and this new town is my friends idea and we just ran with the idea. and we think the players will roll their eyes when they see it lol. well thanks for sticking with us this far. and we promise the wait won't be much too longer as we definately see a launch date before this christmas. we are hoping to put the final touches in early october before it goes through one final playtest and spellcheck. which then you will be able to get feast your eyes on chapter 1 while we work on chapater 2 of the series or do we??? lol.
