About name changes, It was previously that you had to be Magonian rank - 100 posts. It must have changed to being 50 posts somewhere along the road because that's what everyone keeps saying to new people who want to get their name changed. Personally I could have sworn that I took out needing X many posts all together when I changed it to 2 name changes, but then when I looked recently it still said 100 posts. So I really have no idea what happened with that. As it is it is now DEFINITLY changed, and i'm letting everyone know this so that you can back me up later when something magically changes to something else (seriously magically, because nobody else played with it. o.O) you can all back me up here. Oh yeah.. and it's definitly changed to not needing any amount of posts - mainly for the reason I had thought i changed it before - people registering and then wanting a name change and spamming to 100 just to get it or something. So the current rule is 2 name changes allowed per person. Now you all know.

(and really i'm totally not as confused and bumbling as i sound >__> i swear. <3 mag ^__^ )

I'm with Chrissy. Er, Chrssy.

You should be stuck with whatever name you chose to begin with. That'll
teach people to pause and put some thought into it. On most sites, you
don't get a second chance. If you chose something stupid, tough bones.
Put some thought into it when you're deciding on a nick.

Name changes are confusing. I can't keep track of who's who when
everyone changes his name all the time.

If someone on the site is willing to change the name, what is the problem. It is pretty conservative to expect that everyone will know from the start what name they want so maybe its tough bones that you need to keep track of who was who.

Besides, if we offer name changes at least people won't be making new accounts to have a different name. Since we also have a rule about only needing to post under 1 account.
