Probably a cultural thing with its roots too deep behind for us to understand.

Sex can come either with or without love... Though I have never experienced it yet, they say sex with love is a lot better than sex without it. Which makes a lot of sense, with the feelings and so on.

I could give a non-anime film reference for those that aren't CCS fans and would like to hear something more substantial from me, but ... this would be treading into Hollywood territory, and there is no such thing as love there, anymore. Only cheap sex.

... But, if you'd rather not see the CCS movie, then, basically, my thought is this: love is that pure, unelfish longing to everything in your power to provide for and protect the other person, and it can be possible regardless of whether that other person reciprocates the same kind of love or not. ... And the man blushes in the presence of the woman all of the time. ^_^

This topic is about the forms of love, not necesarily the idealistic meaning of love. Some people consider sex to be a formal expression of love.

Yep,
Physical love is just as important as emotional love. Some of you might find this hard to understand. But there are a lot of people in this world who get divorced because there needs are not being met. And some people really do think that sex is love. And with no sex.. Theres no love. To those people.

as i've mentioned it's ok for conversation to drift. that's normal. Just remember not to start insulting each other over it - it's a discussion not a war. a post about how the topic has changed, is in itself sort of random and off-topic though, don't you think? =P

as for the topic.. i would adamently say that love and lust are totally different playing fields, just hard to tell apart sometimes. difficult not to mix them, but one can really screw the other up.

this is something someone else wrote a number of years ago. it fits, so i decided to add it. whatever kind of bad idea that might be.



It somewhat doesn't make sense, some of the words are a bit hard to read and I might have got them wrong. I can't vouch for exactly what was meant by any parts that are confusing as I didn't write it and the person who did is.. basically long gone.
