Everything is going up.. Stamps, Gas , Taxes, sigh..

Well yeah, so has everything for the past.... forever.

I remember back when my parents were mad at gas prices being over a dollar.

But yeah, I'm not really suprised at the increase.

Well, there's an easy way to avoid the price jump.

Send an e-mail.

Until they start charging for that

Fun thing though...They are gonna offer forever stamps....doesn't matter how high the price of stamps go these things are supposed to be accepted forever. And they'll only cost 41 cents (granted when stamp prices go up again they'll go up as well...but that's why you buy them to begin with right?)

today gas went up to 130.6 cents / litre ... which for people not from canada is like... 20cents more per litre just shot up like that this weekend. it's been dwindling between 90 - 110 cents basically for quite a while now.... everyone really hoping it will go down... but yeah right eh?

i'm just lucky that i don't drive. yay for feet! walking is free!

Yep, inflation has been beating out income increases for quite a bit now. If only the government would implement electric cars, but no the Auto and Oil industries would loose too much money, and so would the government. I know once I get a chance to own a full electric (which are rather expensive since you either build it yourself or have it custom built) that's what I'll be driving. But I get around 26 or so mpg so it's not so bad now. Once I start working though I'll definitely be looking into buying a Prius. 55-60 mpg is certainly enticing.

But yeah gas always goes up this time of year as it's summer. People are driving more, raising demand, and therefore the price, since it's a neccessity for so many people (thanks again to the auto industry trying to abolish public transportation in the 40's). Hurray for catch 22s.

I think the idea behind the "forever" stamp is so people will now go crazy buying these stamps now before they keep going up.

I wounder what it will be like for stamp collectors?

Yeps everything just keeps going up. Theres no stopping it. I wonder when the "penny" is going to become no good anymore. Its already worthless out side of braking change.
