Hey all,
I have been spending a lot of time out side. I have planted some perennial seeds and four climbing roses bushes. Spent the past 2 days braking up concrete with a sledge hammer in front of my house so I can plant some blooming shrubs. Only to find that there are giant brick cobble stones that need to be removed. A lot of back braking work with a shovel and a wheel barrel that has a flat tire. A 25 foot tree fell down at the house my folks are renting out here in Scranton PA. They throw me a few bucks for looking after the property for them. My dad sent a chain saw in the mail. So we been cutting away at that thing. The chain saw is a small 10inch. I don't know how the hell he expects us to cut through a large tree trunk with that. lol

The sun bugs me. It makes you hot and turns your skin red. But hey, on the bright side, nothing lifts your spirits like a sunny day.

I walked around in the sun this weekend.. i got a sort of burn on my face ;_; sun hates me. I get burned way easily. Comes from being a geek and sitting in the dark in front of a monitor too much.

but it's nice that it's been warmer recently ^_^

... erm *cough* yeah. i like the sun. saying that, i'm sat indoors with a jumper on and i generally sleep through to about 4pm >_<

i'm in exam season right now, or just about. so i'm busy, for about the first time in my life. ^^;

Although I associate "emjoying the sun" with "going to the beach"
A few weeks ago, I went with some friends to the beach (it was a Monday we all had off... don't rememebr which holiday it was here...)
None of us brought sun block lotion, and spent 5 hours under the sun. Not only my face got burned by the sun, but my back too ^^; A few days later, I looked like a chameleon.
Serve me right for making fun of a tourist that was as red as a tomato, with only strips of white where her swimsuit was covering her. I didn't exactly turned completely red tho. Only my nose, fore head and cheeks.

^ I use to live near the beach. When I was on longisland NY. Its a lot of money to live there. So I got married and moved. Now I'm far from any beach. I live in a home that needs a lot of work. This past weekend was the most work I done in months. When the weather is too cold. I just want to lay in bed to keep warm. I really don't want to do all that much. It feels good to be out and about again.

The <sarcasm>best</sarcasm> thing about it is that after a few days of burning torture, you start to change skins... like a snake or something. Geez.
I tend to cluck up my shoulders when I do that 4-hour-in-the-sun-who-needs-sun-block-program. That's the worse thing you can burn. Gaah.
And the days after, with the burning... well, it's just like a very long hangover =P

oh man, i got so burnt i went purple and got sunstroke, this one time.

then we got drunk on 'rodka'. don't ask about that, it was a nightmare. >_<

I'm quite fond of the sun.
I cannot stand, however, being under it.
I prefer to go out at night.
Insomnia makes prefering the night rather simpler than it is for most people, I suppose.

I also much prefer the Winter. I quite enjoy the cold, but heat is beyond me entirely. That, and my current locale has 100% humidity all the 100 degree summer long. Give me -2 and no heat in the apartment any day over that.

I enjoy being out in the sun with my shirt off, but that's not often. I'm not as muscular as I would like to be to be outside like that.

You don't need to be muscular to not have your shirt on. If you want to go topless, then go topless and don't put up with anybody if they give you shiz about it!

I use to be really active in the sun... I've got 8 years of skateboarding to show for that. The skatepark was apparently not indoors.

In fact, just a few days ago, me and Bibby went out to the park... it's been months since I've last skated and I've really lost alot of what I once knew. It's kind of saddening, but what can you do?

Come now. This me we're talking about. 160 lbs, bean pole. That and I don't like seeing my huge ass neighbor with his shirt off. I'm sure everyone would feel the same way seeing my pale body out in the light.

I can respect that you are consistent socially (you don't want to see particular others topless so you don't want others to be required to see you in particular topless) but I would assert that this only continues to foster negative body image to those who have bodies outside a narrow range of particular body types.

Some people have attractive faces some people have ugly faces. I would never want anyone to hide their face no matter how ugly I thought mine or there's was. Would you? I consider the rest of the body to be essentially the same.

I really don't like men who go topless. Well it depends. I don't like looking at bushy under arm hair, a hairy back. XD Or hairy boobies. And I hate shiny, sweaty, smelly bodys. Ew! LOL!

I think I actually am going to buy veils for some friends of mine now...

Oh god. I know someone who is just covered in 'fur'. It's kinda weird being around him, but he's actually a cool guy.

And oddly enough, I have a friend who has these giant sized bushes under his arms. So gross. Gotta love how he always goes sleeveless and loves putting his hands behind his head. Ugh. There's no help for him.

I don't like going around without a shirt, because I'm not the fittest person ever. Got a bit of a belly, but it's not terrible. It hides reasonably with a shirt.

I need a better tan and better muscle definition. Makes the chicks wanna come around more... >.>

Honestly, I am probably more insecure than anyone else.

Back in my teens, I had bad acne... not on my face... on my back. So bad, actually, I have scars left over from ruptured skin. It doesn't look THAT bad... but enough to turn a head every now and then, which is a little disturbing.

You know, I actually got away with saying I got peppered with some buckshot from a low powered shotgun. Granted she was a blonde... and therefore dumb, but still... quite funny.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind a little sun right now. There was a power outage here at work and though all our servers are on UPSs, we still lost alot of data with connections being lost from other units through out the plant. GAH, if I get one more freakin email... I swear!
