Yep. It's a hard thing to do. I have been working and reworking the Omega Crisis series for going on 5 years now. The story has changed so much that even I can't keep track of it anymore. I just don't feel compelled to finish it anymore. In time, I may decide to release the bits and pieces I had done, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, don't count me out of the RPGM scene, because I still have tricks up my sleeves. I have a new project that is currently in the early stages of programming and it has me VERY excited. I can't wait for you to see it. (Though it isn't Omega Crisis...bits and pieces of it are inspired by it.)

I plan to announce details about project "HT" very soon. Look forward to it.

...Wait, what game are we talking about, again? Seriously, this doesn't really come as a surprise, considering the near complete lack of progress updates.

Wait till you've worked on it for ten years. No joke. I have spent the last
ten years (actually, more... I think I was saying "I've been working on
this for ten years" a couple years ago)... I have spent ten years working
on "The Rune Gem War", a story that will likely never get told. The
fantasy world started out as a ringworld, got morphed into an ordinary
planet with five continents, and finally got shrunk further into five
countries on one continent. Characters and ideas have come and go, the
story has changed numerous times, the cultures have been developed and
redeveloped, and I've never managed to get past the first book in what
would be a five-book ... quintilogy? The thing has become a mess, and
I've all but given up hope of ever doing anything significant with it.
