Can we get a separate sub forum for each of the four RPG Makers so that those of us interested in a specific game need only sift through the topics of a single forum?

That does not sound like a bad idea. Do you mean like when people need help on a game? Or like the studios that people made? Or do you mean just chatting about an RPGmaker topic?

Basically for help and chat.

I for one intend to focus for now on RPGM3. I also own 1 and 2 but won't being doing those for awhile. I never expect to own XP. It would be helpful for me to look to the RPGM3 sub-forum to see if anyone needs help or to request help and/or to talk about ideas for the respective title.

I don't think the studios need to be divided into 1, 2, 3, and XP as some studios do more than 1, but I would advertise my games in the RPGM3 sub forums so that XP users for example never have to get distracted by the advertisements and RPGM3 users can easily hear about them.

I dunno, even if you don't own a certain RPGM, it can still be interesting to read what poeple are doing on other RPGMs. Plus it might help others in getting interested in the other RPGMs.

They can still do that by checking out any forum they want! :) It will just be better organized and easier for those who don't want to sift through all the topics they don't want.

Should I treat the silence as a 'no'? :)

This happened shortly before I left. I don't remember getting a definitive answer, though.

Thanks. I figured that you might have missed the topic, so my post was just a reminder. :)

Who do you need to get an answer from, isn't it your decision?

I agree the sereis and dev fourm could use some sub fourms.

I was in the process of asking Draygone, since he was in charge of the forum. But then I forgot to follow up on it.

Edit: It's not necessary right now, I've heard. Maybe when the next RM comes out will we look at it again.

My reasoning behind this is that while the RMDH does get some attention, it doesn't get quite enough to warrant a split. It may be neccessary once RPGM4 comes out (whenever that may be), as I just know that its release will come with an onslaught of questions since everybody will be new at it.

Well can we at least 'require' someone mention which RPGM they are talking about in the title or description?

I know a number of people do that already but a significant number don't, thus the reasoning behind my original request.

I suppose it's technically "required" anyway. Just that some people sorta forget to specify.
