Super Princess Peach (which I'm highly interested in) is releasing October 20th in Japan.

I just hope she has the ability to levatate. That would rock. She was by far the best character in SMB2.

Personally, I say whoo-hoo! The only adventure game she's been in so far where she is actually gets in the action is Mario RPG. She had totally weak attack power, but at least she didn't let everyone else do the fighting. Heck, she had a really nice explosion attack. Nowadays though, she'd rather play in sports or send hints to Mario.

She was weak at first.

You didn't get the frying pan for her, that;s prob it. Once you get that, she's one of the strongest on your team.

It's about time Miss Peach got her own game (even though it does sound like the kind of idea that will flop), because I was getting tired of seeing her helplessly kidnapped time and time again. Sure she could at least do something for herself in Mario RPG, but let's see a Mario installment where she's the one and only hero all on her own and be a complete badass.

(She had great jumping abilities in SMB2, but picked up things so slowly that she was a virtual sitting duck for enemy attacks whenever she was trying to grab a key to escape to the next area or something. Come to think, that wasn't even Peach in SMB2, was it? Wasn't she called Princess Toadstool back during that time, or are they two entirely different people?)

Her full name is Princess Peach Toadstool, as of Super Mario 64. Although I think she was called Peach in one game before that. But she was always Peach in Japan.
