There was a common forum game I wanted to try to start here. The rules are simple. There would be a single image posted. You take that image and edit it... then re-post it. And then someone else would do the same.

But I find it a bit more effort than what the reward would be for all that editing, uploading, and posting. But that has changed due to another topic... Mr. Snuffles, I believe. The website used for making images needs nothing more than a URL and is easily edited.

So I thought we could give it a shot. The only think you really need to remember is that when you change the image, the URL changes too... so you'll have to re-post the link.

The cool thing about it is that you can see all previous changes made up to it's current appearance. The only down side is that we won't be using powerful image editors like Photoshop. Oh well... let's see if this goes anywhere.

Nice use of shading and light. The sun glare was a nice touch... btw.

I use Photoshop Elements 2.0. You have to learn to get rather inventive to get the most out that software. Lowering the opacity and overlaying several sizes of brush is actualy a trick i piced up when I was posting on the pavilions oekaki board. Actualy, using lowerd opacity is a also a good way not oly to ad shadeing, and midtones, but also can help to yeald colors that are not part of the palette.
