For the past 2 months my hands and feet feel like ice blocks. Its really not that cold in my home. Its between 58 and 73. And my hands and feet feel like as if its 18. I been taking a lot of naps trying to stay warm under the covers. The rest of my body feels fine. Anyone else has this problem?

I only got a 24 hour bug, but haven't been sick for over a year.

Well my wellness streak has been broken since I got the stomach flu about 2 weeks ago, since 2 other people around me got it. And I'm just now getting over a cold. Not really sure why I've been getting sick, as before this it was like 5 years ago since the last time I was sick because of an illness. Oddly enough I've been eating a lot healthier lately, though I still need to get myself into an exercise routine.

As for your problem KK, it's probably because you have bad circulation which can be caused by a lot of things. Being sedentary (sitting all the time, or otherwise being inactive), and some other things lead to this I believe. So because of this you're extremities are not getting as much blood flow as they should be and making them cold. It would probably be a good idea to talk to a doctor to make sure this is not being caused by a serious condition. Other than that just trying kind of getting up and moving around every so often, and jog in place or do some kind of exercise everyday. Also to be warmer you can try to stay in a smaller room with the door closed. My room is always the warmest in whatever place I'm in, I guess because I have my computer on a lot, and I leave my door closed most of the time. Or maybe I just give off lots of heat, because I'm hot :P.

But yeah my hands and feet always get cold first, but normally only when it's actually somewhat cold in the room (50-60 degrees F), though usually not much colder than the rest of my body.

These sites seems to have some decent advice on how to treat it, though it would be important to see a doctor first to determine what you have.

Exercise is a good way to not get sick often. It's what I do. Drinking a lot of water helps too.
