(too lazy to make a new description for this thread, so I will just recycle an old one from another thread; it still applies ....) ->

... This story is one segment of a book I kinda sorta wrote about six or seven years ago. I don't remember much about the whole entire story - called "Legends of Frostenia" - except that it revolves around a country in the Arctic called Frostenia, and its highly varied race of creatures (half-cat/half-humans, elves, dragoneers, etc. etc.). This country basically is the world's forefront against demons of a planet way across the galaxy that have come to destroy the Earth. I can only post the few sections of Legends of Frostenia that I have because that is all that is left in existence (bad computer problems, and at that age I had no idea how to fix them).

You won't really be able to understand everything that's going on in the particular segment of the story that is being posted here, mainly because I don't remember, myself, but, nevertheless, I hope you find it enjoyable enough to read. ... One of the other things I managed to save from that computer crash was a list of the people in the story, both the Frostenians and the members of the demon race. For those that read this and wish to know a bit more about all of the characters, simply make a request and I will post that list, too.

(Regal, I at least expect *you* to read, since this was basically at your request! .... Um, please ....?)

For a second, I though you grew some gahones there until the "um, please" :D

And for those who don't have the programs to read a .wri you can see an online version at http://www.sdrevolution.bravehost.com/Kitty.txt.txt

... Though I believe that the link is an older version. So I'd suggest reading SK's attachment over the link, if possible.

Anyway, another 'good job' for you as well as a pat on the back... with a studded club. ^_^

heh.

i certainly didn't expect that interesting twist. well written, as before, and enjoyable to read. you seem to balance your sentences well... i mean, for instance, you neither use too many adjectives or too few, they tend to have an easy rhythm that makes them easy to read.

i enjoyed it. ^__^ thanks for posting it and i'm sorry it took so long to get around to reading.

seriously, though. you don't actually have to ask me to read or remind me to. just assume i'll read and comment, cause i will. i enjoy reading what you write. *shrug*

=P

Again, my gratitude, everyone. What was it you liked / disliked the most about this particular story, may I ask? (this question directed to anyone who read.)

liked? Undoubtedly the ending. especially since the events of Moonsong were still in my mind (i reread it before i read this ^^;).

disliked? well... this is the most important part, really, isn't it? constructive criticism and whatnot.

the only problem is that i did enjoy it. i felt that the writing flowed as it should. the characters and events were engaging. which makes it so much harder to pick out points of improvement. I think that perhaps you might benefit from giving a little more detail of the events. not just what happens, but how it happens. i don't know, though... not only are things like that a matter of personal taste, but your writing style seems to work quite well as it is.

tbh, i'm still working out how i think one should assess literature. it's something i never really thought about before to a great extent. as such, my thoughts in this area are inescabably restricted by my own unsurety.

so yeah... don't be surprised if i get back to you on that question at some random time between now and Armageddon. =P
