Now, what are the most stylish video game thingies? Can be anything. Hair, character itself, a piece of clothing something you'd like to own yourself... anything that makes a character stylish. Because in videogames, it's important to be cool, or you won't make it.

Jin Kazama's purple pullover/raincoat/thingie in Tekken is amazing, I'd wear that if I had one. Can't find any decent image of it, though...

Dante from DMC is also cool. But nowadays you'd be crazy if you wore a red overcoat like that.[/i]

I think it'd be cool to have a hair-do like Cloud just once.

There's just one little obstacle to hairdos like Cloud's.

Gravity...

LMFAO... amen to that, man.

Oh, and I'll second you on Dante. He's freaking aweseome. But I mean the DMC1 and 2 Dante. The one in 3, while cool... something about hig gunholder's straps looking like a bra under his trenchcoat really looked funny.

And I'd have to say Regal... Simply because of the handcuffs. I don't really know why though.

Ummm. One of the koolest things in games and anime is extra material.

Like extremely baggy pants, or shirts with to much material. Or lots of belt or chains. Or like for girls that have long sleeves that extra strip that almost hangs to the ground. Or like overly large collars like Dracula.

I think extra material is a very kool thing in character fashion. Personally if I had Luke's starting outfit from TotA I would only take it off to wash it a put it back on.

@ Kajak - specially in anime. Specially in anime.

Belt buckles, when used correctly, can really add up to a character. Like Hwoarang's "street costume" from Tekken 5.

Exactly. Any little extra peices of material just add that much more koolness to the character. Belts, chains, capes, shrouds; basically anything.

I particularly think raised collars are kool.

Would you count abmormal body shapes as style?

Like Armarant from FF 9 and his noticably large arms?

Ummm. Maybe. Although I'm not sure it would be a good thing about fashion. Like Cloud and his abnormally small arms ^_^

Yeah, but Armarants arms are one of the features which made him look cool... hence why I asked.

I personally think abnormally large arms are ugly >.<
Like the Guados. Eek.

Heh, I'm a raised collar fan too. Since Auron. But the coolest thing about Auron is the way he leaves the arm hanging in the kimono as if to say 'I don't need it to swing this abnormally huge sword in your face.'

Ya. I would definelty say that posture and mannerisms are as important in the kool factor as style is.

I actually think Vincents posture and fashion is awesome. i love how in 7 he just kinda stands there perfectly straight and shoots. Everyone else is like battle gear, like hunching or crounching or arms up or something like that. Vincent just like "What? You think I'm gonna move for you?"

Whenever I see a picture of Zidane from FF9 the first thing I notice is his hanging belt...

Pic: http://www.ffcompendium.com/art/9-zidane-c.jpg

I also notice his laced gloves

Those are, without a doubt, the biggest wrist cuffs I've ever seen.

And I did not car much for Zidane... as far as coolness of appearance.

Yea. Zidane wasn't to cool. I mean. He had the potential. But I think the overly large head killed it.

Oh, Red was great.

And Zidane? That's a french football ("soccer") player, folks. And I guess FF9 brought a new meaning to the 'Super Deformed' expression... how can anyone be cool like that?!
