Megaman 2 and X2 were pretty cool.

I think MM Legends 1 & 2 were my favorite followed by MMX8 and MMX Command Mission. MMX7 was terrible, though. I hate MMX7.

MegaMan is too hard for me *sigh*

I just hate hard games. But I love MM.

After I acquired MM: Anniversary Collection for PS2, I got beaten up by GutsMan on MM1 several times on a row, and then just gave up.

Megaman 2 because it has Metal Man in it.... I always loved his level...

Funny story time! (Not that funny) My cousin who is quite older than me can beat every MM game in one sitting easily... While me and my brothers can beat every MMX game in one sitting. (We never played past MMX4 though) So, we would always rely on the other to beat the other type of game.

MMX4, because it's the first one you can play as Zero for the whole game, and just had much better villians and powers than the other ones.

Then X3, X8.

X7 was the worst, though X6 is a close second to last because that game was just dumb, and also pretty difficult.

So best to worst

X4, X3, X8, X, X2, X5, X6, X7

As for Mega Man I've only played a couple of them (have the anniversarry collection). I really hate the limited mobility in that game, and prefer the X games about 4:1. I know it was the limited technology that made it so, but the controls are pretty clunky. So they're all about equal to me, though Mega Man and 8 are probably the worst.

Both MegaMan Legends were probably the best of them, though, save perhaps MegaMan X4 and X6.

Yeah they tried to do 3D and completely failed. Ok well not completely but it was pretty close. Also Axl was just a really stupid character, and the bosses were just ugh. So yeah by far the worst of the series, only redeemed by the fact that they were trying something different.

... You're right. They did have some of the stupidest names imaginable for most of the eight bosses in X7. I mean, come on: Splash Warfly?

And Axel, while I grudgingly admit was oftentimes the best man for the job in X8 (at least for me), is really one of the biggest dorks in the whole entire MegaMan franchise, ... right up there next to Astro Man and Dynamo.
