For those who have not been keeping up, I intend to make a number of games under the banner of Series 4. As of right now, there will be 4 games proper (Episodes 1-3 and a prequel) and two teasers. This will obviously take me a few years to complete. In this Series, I'm trying to focus more on story than I did on my last few games.

Because the two teasers and Episode 1 and 2 happen simultaneously (chronologically speaking), there are events in each that will carry over to the other, and have a bearing on further games in the series. For example, in the teaser for Episode 1, there is a small quest you must undertake which involves sending out a spy of sorts to meet with another person and convince him to meet with a wise sage. When the teaser for Episode 2 is released, you will come to realize that the person the spy was sent to talk to is the main character of Episode 2, and in the teaser, you actually have the conversation with the spy that is referred to in the teaser for Episode 1. Without giving too much away, once the other games are released, you will also come to realize that this innocuous seeming act has far-ranging repercussions on the story of the entire series.

I'll make each game as self-contained as possible, meaning you do not need to play any of the others to enjoy it. However, if you play each of the games, you will begin to see how the entire story fits together. Also, each game will have its own distinct style. None of the games will resemble any of the others in terms of gameplay. This should keep things fresh in order to avoid becoming boring and redundant.

I'm reticent to go into much of the story right now, but suffice it to say the main character of Episode 1 and its teaser is a conflicted hero, and the main character of Episode 2 and its teaser is an idealistic young man who is forced, through circumstances beyond his control, to act against his will.

What's the difference between the teaser you just uploaded and the full game that seems to be available here?

There is no "full game" yet. I specifically wanted this to be released as a demo, as it is under 2 hrs long. The (full) after the title in the original download is erroneous. It is a "full game," but it is meant to be a teaser for Episode 1. Nothing in the teaser occurs in Episode 1. There will be the same characters and that's it. Also, whoever put the game in the spotlight on the front page was mistaken when they said that it is a full game yet also a demo of Episode 1. It is a full game. It is not a demo. But due to its brevity, I wanted to release it as a demo.

I hope this clears up any confusion.
