OMG, I forgot one.

I was able to beat Deis, the final boss in Xenogears without taking out any of the four mis bosses before him that make him weaker when you final fight him. Remember that, SK?

Pimp My Gears, FTW!

Heh, you can at least take him out with Crono alone. If you start a new game + as soon as marle walks out of your party while she waits for you to test Lucca's invention, just go into the right pod.

But I'm pretty sure you knew that...

lmao, there are technically 14... but two kind of get lumped together as one ending.

I've gotten them all... Chrono Trigger is the best game of all time.

I guess that's pretty much a feat... I probably played Chrono Trigger a good 80 plus times.

Holy god.

But I guess I can beat you. I played the beginning of Chrono Cross (until about the first time you reach Termina) more than 100 times, I guess.

I was 11. I was bored. I had only one good game (Chrono Cross). And I had no Memory Card. =)

lmao... you sound like Sarah's Knight and Final Fantasy 7.

Almost the exact same scenario. Oh, and since you've been out; SK is my room mate and stuff... just so you are up to par with the rest of the class.

Haha, thanks.

It kinda lost the special flavour after I got a memory card... I just got sad knowing I'd never see Mama Komodo again.

... How are you able to fight Lavos with just Marle? Could you tell me? Because that might just be something I would want to start working towards one day waaaay later on down the road, such as maybe on a day when I'll be in my early sixties and my wife will have already gone to Heaven and the grandchildren won't be coming over to sit with me on the porch and have tea or something that day, either, and so I'll be really lonely and unoccupied but then I will just remember that the PS2 is still somewhere up in the attic ....

I beat Rayman for Gamboy color as well. I actualy wrote down all the codes it gives you and disocered the patern to them. If you punch in the right codes you can program that game to do what ever the f*ck you feel like.

If you really are willing to try, kill Crono off... before the battle. Then, in the battle he'll have 1 HP, it's easy as hell to kill off and stay just with Marle.

(I remember that killing party members off was an awfully good trick back in FF2's training days)

Yeah, that would work...

And on FF2... omg, that was a messed up exp system. Depending on what happened to you/what you did in battle, you'd get a level up in that stat. For example: If you took alot of damage in a fight, your HP could go up. Strange stuff...

Equip two shields. That way, you don't to damage.
Enter battle with weak enemies.
Keep attacking for about 5 mintues (in the clock! that's a LOT)
Change equipment (in-battle) and win battle.
Keep doing until you have Shield lvl. 16 (maximum). Agility will go up too, it's the same method.
Then, just make sure that you always have one shield euiped... and for the rest of the game you'll have 99% evade chance. Pretty cheap, since you can do that in the very beginning of the game.
Just worry about magic, but that's pretty unpowerful in FF2.

I never thought of that.

I always had two weapons... By the end of the game, I was striking like... 12 times per turn.

It's a kind of a stupid trick, but I found it out all on m own, and I don't think any body knows about it. On Legend of Zelda: Majaro's Mask (It might work on OoT too, but I've never tried it) In the mountians where you cross the bridges, and tingle floats near by, melt the ice where the snow wolfos pops up, then go down in the hole. Get out a deku stick and get close to the deku baba. You have to whack the boulder, it, and the wall in one swipe, if done correctly you'll still be holding half a deku stick. You can swing and whack as much as you want, it'll never go away unless yo change weapons or leave.

With one shield, and one weapon, good weapon level... I think I deal about 16 hits with the guys and about 10 with the lady.

About the 4th character, I kill him off and ignore him (poor Leon) because the poor guy can't keep up with the other 3 =P
By the way, how much HP do you have? I've got around 6000 for the 3 main ones... dunno if it's much O.o

I think the most HP a character had was around 4000... but I was doing ALOT of magic leveling up at the time and was casting spells on myself. So my HP and magic would go up.

@ Zero - Didn't know that... interesting. :P

... I think this thread can still have some uses. Therefore, I choose to bump the topic.

I made two recent accomplishments in gaming ->

1) I scored three head shots in a row while in total darkness on Resident Evil: Dead Aim (not one of the better Resident Evils, by the way).

2) More importantly, I managed to get through an entire game of Tales of Destiny without a single character ever being KO'ed in battle. ... That's right; I'm not talking about never gaming over. I meant no one's HP ever reached zero.

... At the very least, I am pretty sure Lantis has a few brags he'd like to make about Devil May Cry or Stepmania since the last post, if no one else has anything they'd like to mention. ^_^

I made it through the Cave of Ordeals in Zelda: Twilight Princess. Especially difficult considering how tough ice enemies are, and how tough those armored guys with the big swords are when you're fighting three of them at once. :o

I beat it with half a heart and my health-restoring items used up.
