Is it just me, or was Virginia the ONLY cool party member in Wild Arms 3.

Yes...Virginia is the only one who is better dressed and well...good looking and stuff.

The other's were just weird and mysterious and were not so interesting.Speaking of Wild Arms, I liked Raquel and Arnaud from WA 4

I only got about halfway through Wild Arms 2, but Kanon and Maraveil both seemed pretty cool, although I only knew what Maraveil looked like from the intro cut scene on disc 2 and her personality just from what Lantis told me. That was one thing I could say about Wild Arms 2; only one of all six protagonists you could fight with seemed to really suck, and in my opinion RPG's with a majority of party members being on the cool side are pretty rare.

... Yes, exactly, BQ! Philia Feleece rules everything! If she were put up against every last other possible party member in Tales of Destiny in some sort of cage match fight, like on WWF or something, she would easily trounce them all. .... Surely no one here who's played ToD would argue against Philia being the coolest heroine around?




You're almost right, Lantis. Virginia is one of my favorite RPG main characters of all time, but ... Clive was pretty cool, too. I try to follow after his example in the general way that I talk as Sarah's Knight, after all.

I never got around to looking into Grandia, even in the ... well, six or seven years that has passed since the first game in the series came out, ... so I cannot say that I am familiar with the two characters you just mentioned. Maybe one day in the near future I will just happen to have an extra twenty dollars lying around and think to buy the first Grandia off of Amazon.com or something.

On the topic of Disgaea, I still haven't played 2. I thought Hour of Darkness was a really good stategy RPG, and I heard from Kajak that 2 is no worse, if not better. So I need to get hooked up with that soon.
