K, here's one... well actually here one that I wanted to do.... but couldn't.

In Burnout: Takedown (I think that would be Burnout 3) I've tried to complete the game 100%. I'm at 98%. The last two races are flipping insane. You have to drive the fastest, yet most easily demolished car in the game.... on a track that has turns that are hard to make even when power sliding. Oh, and the computer drives the same car with little problem.

Looks like I'll never see what that final race is like.

ok.... I have a very "believable" accomplishment...

I beat Metroid: Zero Mission for GBA in one sitting taking a total of 1:37

Yes I know every Metroid game is beatable in under 2 hours, but I was so happy when I did this. fighting Mother Brain with only like 6 energy tanks and almost no missiles was a b*tch.

When I was fighting the final head of the last boss in Golden sun 2, he wouldnt stop casting cruel rain and I had two charectors left and he would kill them both on the turn after mine. I cast two bolt spells and it killed him. The boss was insane...

Actually, I stopped playing BO3 several months ago... But I did, however complete everything else the game had to offer. Minus those two races, I unlocked every car, reached every event goal, beat every race with a gold metal... I guess I'm satified with that...

Oh, and DMC 3 (Yeah, I'm in a huge DMC kick lately... I'm sure it will pass eventually) you can play the Bloody Palace. Which has 9999 rooms full of enemies... and even bosses. You can skip rooms by 100 if you wanted to so it's not THAT long...

I was just playing around and getting orbs and got to floor 4000... which isn't too shabby for casual play. Though, I have heard DMD is harder than the Bloody Palace, so I'm not too hell bent on beating it.

I found Omega Weapon, despite his having even more HP than Emerald or Ruby Weapon, to be a fairly easy optional boss (not that I am trying to undermind you, Staffy). It only took my second try to beat him. Then again, Megalixirs were plentiful when I fought him (as long as you don't care too much about card collecting, you can simply refine the Bahamut card for a full supply of 100 of these things), so I did not have to be sparing on using them to fully heal up every time I took damage, and I was lucky with Squall's limit breaks. The option to use Lionheart came up more frequently than usual, and, with the Lionheart sword equipped, using the Lionheart limit break easily does 150,000+ HP of damage, which makes 1.2 million go down a lot faster than expected. I found that preparation for fighting Omega in FF8 did not take near as long as it did for preparing to fight Emerald and Ruby in FF7. ... I didn't mind all of the extra fighting around and chocobo breeding and stuff, though; I was just 13 or 14 years old at the time I did it, so I had all the time in the world (not like you have to study in middle school or anything Laughing).

See, the problem with me was that I never was very good at the card game in FF8. I was shooting for a 100% play through on my first try, and I didnt realize that the card game was really all that important. (Thus, when I got to Ultimecia, I had like NO cards to refine. that meant i had NO holy wars, and only the Mega elixers that i had made it though her castle with. still I made it to her final form before she raped my ass.) Odd, because I roxxored at the one in FF9.

Havent beaten eather though. FF8 bcause of the aformentioned card problem, and FF9 because...um...I got another game...(what was it...) OH YEAH! Gran Turismo 3!

Speaking of Gran Turismo, i actualy sat down and got gold on all the licence tests in GT1, GT2, and GT3. the ones in GT4 are effing INSANE so i may NEVER get gold on those. On a side note, because of this i'm still racing in GT4 on licences I got back in GT1. How's THAT for an acheivement? :D

You can't in any of the Primes. It's literaly IMPOSIBLE. even if you know where everything is, It would still take you like, 20 hours to do.

Still, kudos on the Metroid Zero mission time. That's pretty impressive!

*breaks out player's guide* The first secret and optional boss is (I'm going to put a spoiler tag around this just incase.)
Hades
The second secret/optional boss is
Ozma
The first one I said is located late in the game in Memoria.

The second is located at the Eidolon Grave in Chocobo's Air Garden only after completeing most sidequests.

Oh, I remember now. I actually already did beat
Hades
in Memoria; I just never thought of him as an optional boss because I barely had any trouble defeating him. I didn't know about
Ozma
or even the existence of the place he is located in, though. Maybe I didn't do enough of the side quests ....?

I aint spoilering the name Ozma. He's/She's/It's an optional boss, so it realy wouldent be a spoiler to know about him; Quite the opposite infact. NOW describing what he/she/it looks like? Now that's spoiler worthy.

I have a couple recent personal milestones...

Beating Less Talk More Rokk on Expert on Guitar Hero II, and getting 99% on Yes We Can on Expert in Guitar Hero II.

I played that once. The best I could accomplish was above 90% on "Crossroads" in normal mode.

Hardest mandatory boss I've ever fought. Even harder than Zeromus and his constant Big Bangs.

Speaking on optional bosses in FF9, there is a book thing in Alexandria Castle. Not sure if it's a real boss per se, but it is tough last I tried it. I think there's also a fourth optional boss, but I'm not sure what it is if there is one.

I've never reached Ozma myself, but I've seen Ozma in action. As a L99 enemy, you wouldn't want to be fighting it at a low level like 60. :P

(Ah, to heck with spoliers ....)

The only two optional bosses in Final Fantasy IX that I now know of are Ozma and Hades. ... But you mentioned a possible fourth, Draygone. Who's the third?

Quote:

Like I said, I only played the second Guitar Hero at one time. I personally cannot answer that one, Staffy. ... Perhaps Miss Fayorei knows? From her last post, I gather that she knows both games pretty well.

Well, if you want to split hairs there are six, because when you get to the part where you fight the feinds, you get to choose which one you want to face., while the other members of your party head off to kill their feinds
