Ok, i figured it was about time to start posting up stuff that i like. Artists, and the like. Same for you, too. If you've seen a picture, webcomic, even a DeviantArt deviation that struck you as awesome, share it with us. If you've read a poem or short story that you really liked, if you heard a great piece of music recently.... in essence, if you are subjected to any particularly cool or striking art, post it or a link to it up here. Say who its by and why you like it too, if you can be bothered or even know ^_^

i'm going to set the ball rolling with these. i'll admit that i have a wierd, 'not obsessive but close to it' liking for black and white, or at least colour-bleached images. These first two are by H R Giger... some of his more restrained stuff, at that.





These next ones are by an artist that i've posted around here before. M C Escher. I love the way he messes with perceptions, and uses complexity and impossibility to confuse the eye. I find that staring at his pictures is strangely therapeutic. its kind've comforting to KNOW that a thing won't make sense the longer you stare at it.



and my personal favourite... for the quality of the technique and the darkly comic nature of it...
