I'm getting a major head start on my Winterennmas and I'm starting up on FF IX (Again!) and Legend of the Dragoon (First time). So I have 2 new entries!

Dagger/Garnet (The not so standard princess who gets kidnapped.)

Shana... Yeah, I like her attitude with Lavits and (enter main character's name here because I can't remember.)

Dude... Lavits was awesome.

He had the best combos in the game.

lol, I can still hear him going "HARPOON!" from yesterday.

But yeah, Lavits is cool.

You noobs, Rose and Albert all the way. And the name you're looking for Facts is Dart. Poor Hashell. No one ever liked him. He's just the stinky old man of the team, even though his combos did massive damage.

And I have to say the entire cast from the Der Wille zur Macht was pretty damn cool (except for the pancified Shion.) Gaignun, Chaos, and Ziggy were freakin awesome. Just had to throw that in there since Xenogears was getting so much love.

Well, I'm not far enough into the game to have met anyone besides Shana, Dart and Lavits. (I started the game last night along with FFIX.)

and I also forgot to say Vivi! Vivi is just plain awesomesauce.

I'm not a noob... I was thinking of Lavits [spoiler]who gets replace with Albert[/spoiler]. And yeah, Haschelle or whatever his name is was a dirty old man, but I used him in the final fight none the less... Dart is okay...

Now, are we just talking about protagonists or just the heros. Remember, the protagonist of a story isn't necessarily the main character, it's just the driving force of the plot. Just like the antagonist isn't always a villian, just someone who opposes the protagonist.

I mean, if we are just going for heros, I'd have a whole LIST of people that would take too long to discribe. Although....I would like to add Rose to my list, she was just badass.[/spoiler]

I think Rose classifies for a Protagonist. I mean. She has her faults, but her role in the story furthers the hero. Which is why earlier I decided to omit Sydney Lastarot because while he isn't evil he is definetly opposing the hero. Or at least the hero is opposing him.

*nods* That's what I figured. I think my favorate of all time...man..it's hard to pin point one...Oh! I did like the characters from Thousand Arms. You can't go wrong with RPG dating sims!

Please, the only cool one among all seven protagonists in Thousand Arms was Sodina.

Meis is a loser with no personality whatsoever, Muza is a moron, Wyna is too masculine, Soushi talks funny, Kyleen is an ugly self-centered b*tch with a butch haircut, and Nelsha's entire style just creeps me out.

... Come to think, the main antagonist of Thousand Arms wasn't any good, either. He was quite possibly the most boring main villain in RPG history yet, with the exception of maybe Kefka from FFVI or Guygas from Earthbound.

The only thing I really liked about Legend of Dragoon other than battling were the voices. I agree with facts and "HARPOOON!"

I also liked "VOLCANO!", "FLAME....SHOT!", and Dance of Dragons dance, or something like that.

My favorite was the old guy, because I never understood what he said. I always thought he was saying "Fury of sticks!" when he was really saying something else, like "Ferry of Sthick".

LMao... I will admit one of the most appealing things about dragoons was the battle system. Very nice. And the changes and the voices were a huge bonus.

But what about all the CG scenes... those were breathtaking for their time.

And I agree with SK on everything involving Thousand Arms. Strangely though, I played through it twice...
