Hey all, me and Steph are setting up a D-Link Router at her house. We set up everything but now the username and password are not working. I do not think we changed the admin username. Tried admin and password for the thing. Tried admin and the new password we made. No workie.

Is there a way to reset it back to the factory defaults without logging into the router?

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Router is a DI-524 C1 model D-Link. We just need a WEP key set and cannot get in to do it.D:

since i don't know anything at all, i'd suggest googling the model of the router and 'factory defaults', or something similar....

or you could wait for someone competent to show up.

Ah cripes! We got it.

I looked it up hardcore and found a reset button much like a Tamagotchi on the router. I need to delete this.xD
