Me, I'm hoping I never get around to being THAT popular. Nothing says "time to slow it down" more than recieving 100+ comments every time you upload a picture. Just keep those Daily Deviations away from me. Granted, I could use a bit more popularity than I have now, but I did manage to get my first fanart. Obsoyve:

That's the problem with DA, is that it has become a popularity contest. I would never hope to be that popular, simply because you would feel you have to contend with everyone else, and that people are that much more likely to steal your work.

If you use DA for the fact you can share your artwork, it's always cooler then using it for feedback. Most of the people on DA are all about getting pageviews, and it's just kinda..blah. But...*shrugs* to each their own.

I do share my stuff because I want to, but I also want people to comment on my art. I like comments. I'm happy even if I get just one. But get too many people, and you wind up having to read too many comments. I don't have that sort of time. But no, I'm not worried about contending with other people. Why would I be, if I had so many people paying attention to me already?

*shrug* i got my own 1000th pageview. it took 4 days to get the last 5 views XD

then again, i haven't drawn anything at all for about 8 months. ^____^
