PODs an ok band, definitely mainstream, and I remember them rumored to be Christian rock or something like that though I never saw the influence. Still a decent band though, never had one of their albums so I only know the radio songs. I find I usually like songs on a bands CD better than the ones I hear on the radio. Not sure why.
