What is the best anime you've seen lately?

The last truly magnificent anime I saw is Junni Kokki (12 Kingdoms). It is a masterpiece.

A small side story -- I've only given 4 pieces of anime perfect 10s:

Outlaw Star
Tenchi Universe
Tenchi in Love: Tenchi the Movie (the first movie)
and now:
Junni Kokki.

Please do yourself a favor and look at it.

those are just a few that I/ve watched in the past month. Anyone like Cowboy bebop and Burst angel put together then watch Black lagoon. Too bad its short. 12eps.

Angel's Egg.

That's about the only (non-adult) anime I have everliked.

Devilman (1970's) was nice.

So were the OAV's based on the series.

But I'm a live action fan.

I don't have the money or the compu-power to really be into anime, but what I do watch I think is worth it.
Kenshin, Beebop, Outlaw Star, Champloo.
All relatively mainstream I suppose, but meh, I dig it.

they was pretty good movies.

I think I forgot Bokusatsu Tenchi Dokuro-chan as well.. or maybe I left it out cus it wasn't ALL that amazing, just fun and cute.

hmm... grave of the fireflies was pretty good, i thought the extra thing where you could watch the storyboard frames was awesome XD

then again, i guess you probably didnt have the dvd.

im too lazy to use my memory right now. appleseed was the last one i watched, i think.

though.... it wasn't all that good really. but hey, watch it if you like mechas and similarly testosterone fuelled stuff.

lantis, have you not watched Ghost in the Shell? i kinda thought the second one was the most visually stunning thing EVER (it has been a while since i watched it, tbh).

on the other hand, my mate fell asleep in the cinema next to me. make up your own mind XD

Oh crap... yes, I've seen Ghost in the Shell... as well as the sequel. Told you I'd forget a few.

, since, you know, most of the cast consists of grade school females, but, ... Cardcaptor Sakura. I am finding that it isn't quite as silly or retarded as most anime are, much to my surprise.

It's strange, though, before I even really began checking this anime out, I had already chosen a shot of Li Shaoron as the avatar representing Sarah's Knight, without even remembering him as Li from the few episodes that I saw of Cardcaptors way back in the day. ... But it fits, nonetheless.
