Is there a way to crete an event that does NOT have a exclamition point when you're near it? I want to crate events where you have to actually pres the button on luck, not walking around waiting for a little sign to appear. It's a treasure hunting game.

The yellow exclamation point always appears near an activatable event... there's no way to turn it off.

Well, one thing you could do is have an invisible event set to touch. (The first time you touch it the player will not know). Have the event code switch the event to mode 2 (which is set at "button"). That way only after touching it unknowingly will the player be able to see that yellow exclamation mark.
