Offline website update: Walkthrough is up to par with the game. Also edited character biographies and a little of the site format.

Aslo, I've just cooked up a new concept for the next dungeon. I'll work on it as soon as we can finish up the text/scenes up to it. I use to go ahead and program dungeons with all it's puzzles. But as you know, puzzles require switches. The more complex the puzzle, the wider range of swiches and contitions you will use. But scenes and paths on the world map require switches too and once they get out of order, all hell breaks loose on me trying to figure out which switches I can or can not use. So I'm sitting on my butt with not much to do till then.

well what i do especially if you know your not gonna use a switch again is mark which ones you used and just sa you move to another dungeon u turn off switches your not using, then you can reuse them. I do this alot I will have a few dungeons and a town that will use a hundred switches then after that not useful so i just turn them off and reuse them. That way you can create your dungeons just make sure that you list which ones you used and make sure they get turned off before you get to the dungeon that uses them. Never let a good idea be set aside its best to use an idea while it is fresh in your mind.

Of course not. I've been keeping good track of switches actually. I've been keeping a .txt file with each scnearios used switches... which switch was last used and switches that can not be reused... such as path switches.

But in the past, I've done dungeons that have been pushed down 2 or 3 memory cards... and that kind of kinked my works. But as of now, everything is going well... Not fast... but well.

It's been a long time since our last update. Eagle is pretty bogged down with.... what what that class again? "Beef production and managment decisions?" lol. Sorry man, just messing with ya.

But here's some stuff to hold you over.

Here is almost completed ad for issue 3.3
As staff, I'm under strict "don't post content of 3.3" rules... but I guess posted the unfinished ad will be alright. If not, Ix... I'm sorry, I'll take it down ASAP.

@BeautyQueen - No charge. I doubt I'll ever really put anything on the internet and charge money for it. As for the gamecover: All our anime style images used are courtesy of animegalleries.com

@Facts - Yeah, we want to do something special for every dungeon. In that screenshot, one of the catches of that dungeon is if you walk of the lilypads, you fall into the water and have to start the room over with a little less HP.

Man this makes me even more happy I just ordered a dex drive. 10 Memory cards long is just crazy man. Well all I know is when this game is completed I think it will win every category in every contest. Or I guess I hope it would since this seems like it has and will be taking a whole lotta effort.

As for the offline website, are you doing that so you don't have to have hosting for the site. I don't see why you don't just put it online, as hosting has gotten dirt cheap these days.

But who all is working on this besides you and Sarah's Knight, since I believe you mentioned there were 4 of you. Also amazing to see a collaborative RPG Maker game working. Considering all the RPGM really weren't meant to be collaborative.

Well look forward to playing it in a year or two :).

Soon as I can finish that blasted lab report in analytical chemistry this weekend, I should be able to get just a few hours of work on SOE this weekend. Just two more weeks or so and all scenes for the seventh scenario should be finished (unofficially, of course, for there's always room for change later on). Again, thanks to everyone at the mag (and the rest of you patrons on the forums, of course) for keeping their interest in this game, especially considering how long it's taking us to complete it.

By the way, on a serious note, we've been discussing the possibility of a title change for the game, for various reasons, the primary one being that the name "Secret of Everyone" is more in itself a mere parody of SNES' "Secret of Evermore", and I am beginning to wonder if there is enough storyline relevance in the game to this title to make it a viable one, considering how serious in nature this game is meant to be. This would be a very drastic change, in my opinion, to make at this stage in production, but still, it may be necessary. I hope this won't discourage fans or anything, but again, so far a change in the title is just an idea - nothing more. It's not like the whole entire nature of our RPG is being altered or anything. Just want to keep you all knowledgable of what's going on behind the curtains with the development staff, that's all. ... That's enough talking.

1) I don't want to put it up on the next before the game is released because the Walkthrough that comes with it is chock full of spoilers.

2) I kind of want to make it exclusive to the people who actually plan to play the game. Kind of like a little bonus feature. But like I said before, the offline website isn't anything great... just basic HTML, if nothing else than to keep file sizes at a minimum.

Me, and Sarah's Knight (Eagle)... apparenlty. The other two are Sang Yung and Clef. Sang Yung helped out with the first run-through of the game back on 2004. And Clef was brought in no too long ago after we starting remaking almost 2 years ago.

And yeah, we want to try and come up with a better name for the title. Hope you guys won't think we are indecicive... we just want something that will turn more heads than the current title.

Well, this past weekend didn't go over as best as we thought. We scratched the surface of one of the more major scenes in the game.

It's to the point where Eagle will write out (on paper) the text for the scenes and I will try to type it out for him while he is knee deep in school books. It helps, by a small margin...

On a plus note... Sang Yung (AKA Adam in issue 3.3) will be gracing us with his pressence this coming weekend. Maybe we can crack down and push ahead.

I should take this optertunity to ask the guys who played the demo to rate the game.

*does just that*

Oh, and no new updates. Well, Eagle said he will be able to get some more scenes done now that some other things are now out of the way.

And my car is dead. I won't be able to make it back to the house to do anything with those scenes till I get a new one. After that happens though... I'll be very much broke.

But anyway. I've started to update the first post with the current updates from now on. I'll post the general information on the first post, and the details of the update here, as we have been doing.
