Npc help

I want my npcs to not appear in the town at night, so I figured if I just turned to display off in their night event, it would be fine. But it's not, they won't disappear until I try and talk to them.

So how do I fix this? I can't use a refresh display when it turns night time, because my game begins in this spot.

I'm thinking you might want to try an auto event.

If not, then perhaps you can slightly change the perspective of the spot at first and then just continue the game like normal, so that players won't see the changes?

Well I feel really stupid, but I figured it out. It was simple as can be. You turn their displays on and off via their modes, I thought the option was for 2d portraits, so I turned them off on the day, and on during the night. So thats why they were there at night time, and not there during the day.

Well, in that case i have an alternative solution.If there is an invisible event somewhere in town you should add the display off mode.Then when you touch it everyone will dissapear.but wait a minute that will only happens if you touch it but not when it is nighttime though...
