Halo 3 will probably sell far less copies than Halo 2. Halo 2 sold 2.4 million copies in the first day, around 5 million total. That was with ~20 million people owning xboxs. "Some" analysts predicted a best case scenario of 11 million 360's sold within a full year. In 5 months, they will have sold ~ 4.5 million units if that hold true. 1/4th of 4.5 million is ~1.1 million copies of Halo 3 sold. I do suspect that a slightly larger percent of the people that will already own a 360 will get Halo 3, especially since there will only be 40 or so games total out by then. So, 1.5 million would be a GOOD figure of Halo 3 to sell. Since bungie already knows this, they will likely NOT produce a killer app and instead save their "good stuff" for Halo 4.

They should just end it at Halo 3. I mean, it's coming down to the wire. Earth is the place that can deactivate all of the Halos.

Maybe it'll all conclude in Halo 4, then.

That way, they have enough time to make a blockbuster.

I don't like Halo that much... I find it mediocre and overhyped. It's ok.

I'm glad to see a majority of X-Box owners feel the same. 8)
